The Space

The property is surrounded by lush Costa Rican rainforest and offers opportunities to see remarkable wildlife, including birds, monkeys, toucans, scarlet macaws, margays, baby sea turtles, and more.

The home is a five-minute walk from the beach and ocean, making it well suited for business travelers, families with children, and larger groups seeking comfort, privacy, and a tropical escape. Guests consistently rate the location five stars.

The bright, airy living area features comfortable seating and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The open kitchen and large dining table create an inviting space for shared meals and time together.

The fully equipped kitchen includes:

White vintage-style cabinets and simple décor give the kitchen a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The open-plan living area includes a comfortable work desk for guests who need to handle a few business tasks during their stay. A foosball table is also available for friendly games and tournaments.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The primary bedroom features soft pastel colors, bold wall art, and a television for relaxing movie nights. A baby crib is available upon request.

The other two bedrooms accommodate up to four guests each:

• One bedroom has two bunk beds.
• The other bedroom has one double bed and one bunk bed.

The home accommodates up to 12 guests in total and includes 2.5 bathrooms, including one bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Outdoor Area

The private pool is reserved exclusively for guests. The outdoor area also includes:

• Outdoor dining space
• Gas barbecue
• Poolside seating
• Romantic evening lighting

Enjoy a swim, relax with a cool drink, or prepare a barbecue dinner under the stars with family and friends.

Additional Comforts

The villa includes a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Beach towels are provided. Sunscreen and mosquito repellent are recommended for Costa Rica’s tropical climate.

Insects are a natural part of life in Costa Rica, particularly near the beach and rainforest. We maintain the home carefully and do our best to keep it clean and comfortable, but guests should expect some contact with nature during their stay.

Guest Access

Guests have private access to the entire house through a secure door lock. You will also have access to:

• The backyard
• Private pool
• Gas barbecue area
• Hermosa Beach, approximately a two-minute walk away

The beach offers beautiful sunset views.

Host Interaction

Your host will be available during your stay to provide assistance, recommendations, or help with any property-related details.

Guests can travel by:

Transportation

Private transportation is available from Juan Santamaría International Airport to Playa Hermosa for $150 one way, for up to 10 people. Payment is made in cash directly to the driver.

A crib must be requested in advance so availability can be confirmed.

Cleaning and Safety

The property follows enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures to help protect guest safety.

Residential Community Security

Before entering the residential community, guests must provide personal information for the security guards. This includes:

• Full names
• Identification or passport numbers
• Vehicle license plate numbers

Internet, Electricity, and Water

Occasional interruptions to internet, electricity, or water service may occur in the area. These situations are outside our control, but we will always do our best to assist.

The house includes free fiber internet.

Visitors

Visitors are subject to an additional fee of $25 per person, per day.

Starter Supplies

Essential products are provided to help you begin your vacation. Guests should bring personal items, toiletries, and cleaning supplies according to their needs.

Construction or Renovations

Construction or renovation work may occasionally take place in the surrounding area.

Toilet Paper

Please place toilet paper in the trash bin rather than flushing it down the toilet.

Pets

Well-behaved pets are accepted with prior approval, provided they are not on the dangerous-breeds list.

• The fee is $25 per pet.
• Pets must be kept on a leash.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Staff on the Property

Staff may occasionally be present around the property or near the storage room.

Additional Cleaning

Extra cleaning may be available upon request, subject to availability:

• $85 with cleaning supplies included
• $65 without cleaning supplies

Please check availability in advance.

Early Check-In and Late Check-Out

Depending on availability, the following options may be available for an additional $150 each:

• Early check-in at 8:00 a.m.
• Late check-out after 11:00 a.m., up to 8:00 p.m.

One day before arrival, a complimentary 2:00 p.m. check-in may be confirmed, depending on availability.

Children and Safety

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the private pool and ocean.

Maintenance and Unexpected Issues

As with any home, unexpected last-minute issues may occasionally occur. Please contact us immediately if a problem arises so we can send someone to assist.

Ocean Safety

Please respect the ocean. Do not drink alcohol and swim, and take extra care during high tide.

Beach Club Access

Under the new Hermosa Palms policies, renters no longer have access to the beach club. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Beach Access

Guests have free access to the beach.

House Capacity

The house accommodates up to 12 guests. If you bring an additional person, they must provide their own towels and sleeping arrangements. The extra fee covers use of the house, pool, water, electricity, and other property services.

Beach Chairs

Two foldable beach chairs are available in the laundry room. Guests are welcome to use them but must return them after use.

Pest Control

The property is maintained through a regular pest control program. You may occasionally notice a dead insect after treatments have been performed.
