Holiday periods for 2025 and 2026:
- Thanksgiving: November 23–30 (2025 and 2026)
- Easter Week: March 29–April 4, 2026
Christmas and New Year:
- Reservations arriving between December 19, 2025, and January 6, 2026, require a minimum stay of 7 to 10 nights. Specific periods may apply. Please contact us before booking online during this timeframe.
Holiday dates are excluded from the cancellation policy and are non-refundable.

A dream vacation. Villa Motmot was absolutely perfect - stunning views, plenty of space, wonderful pool and backyard. An absolute dream. Maureen was incredible - I still dream about our daily breakfast. She made the most incredible pina coladas, and was so warm and welcoming. And kept the place pristine. Adriana was a wealth of information and so helpful connecting us with transportation to and from the airport, a golf cart rental, private chef, and massages. She was incredibly responsive before and during our stay. This AirBnb rental experience may have ruined all others - top notch service, amazing location, just perfection!

The home is beautiful, and Adriana and team made our stay such an amazing experience! Adriana helped set up excursions that we really enjoyed, and ensured that all our needs were met during our stay. I came with my girls on a trip and Adriana’s place was perfect! It’s very spacious and has a private pool to enjoy! Adriana assisted me with everything I needed and made my stay seamless! Maria was also amazing and prepared fruits and guacamole for us! If you’re looking for a place where you feel taken care of then I highly recommend!

Great stay for our group of 8. Quick golf cart ride to downtown, which made everything easy. The manager was super helpful with transportation and pre-arrival groceries. They also offer excursions and dinner planning, though we didn’t use those. The daily staff-prepared breakfast was a highlight, and we spent most of our time at the pool. We loved the iguanas that would hang out and sunbathe nearby. The only downside is the steep road up to the house. Walking would be tough, but golf carts make it a non-issue. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful house! Spacious & new, and the backyard & pool area was lovely! Walkable to lots of restaurants, but for sure a golf cart or car is nice if anyone has mobility issues. The house is up a steep dirt road. We saw lots of birds, iguanas, and monkeys! Pool was super relaxing.

Villa Motmot was just what we were looking for in Tamarindo. Space for all 9 of us. The pool, backyard and bocce ball courts were perfect. Maria was amazing! Breakfast, afternoon snacks and drinks. Love love her. Adriana responded to my emails quickly and with additional information for us. Highly recommend getting golf carts to ride into town and the beach. Makes it nice.
