The condos as said in many other reviews has several maintenance issues, but if you are that picky the place is perfect for a family vacation. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location and neighborhood. We loved exploring shops and restaurants, all very close to the condo. We were a big group that stayed in condo 202 and 203. As other reviewers have mentioned, the condos are in need of general maintenance. One of the AC units in 202 dripped water all week. Multiple kitchen cabinets in 203 are falling off their hinges. Even with the need of repairs we enjoyed out stay at John's place and spent lots of time floating in the water and snorkeling. Puerto Aventuras is a great place for families, highly recommend and would go back.

We were very disappointed with the lack of maintenance in this unit! The location of the condo is wonderful and so is the space, but we had issues with mold and mildew in/on the walls and ceiling from previous and current water damage. Upon arrival the a/c was dripping from the ceiling and we had to keep our door open all night and a bucket on the floor. The bathroom had not been cleaned. Underneath the sink water was also dripping, when we used the sink. John was very responsive and empathetic, but it took several days of workers coming in and out of our unit, to stop the dripping, which hindered our vacation plans. There is so much deep cleaning and simple repairs that are needed. Cabinet doors without hinges that fell off. Sliders that are rusted and stuck, but the worst was the mold and mildew that requires new Sheetrock to be installed. The location and grounds are lovely, but we were really disappointed of the condition of the condo, when there is so much potential.

La estancia es tal como se describe en el anuncio, el departamento tiene de todo, desde corral, snorkels, utensilios de cocina, etc. Muy bonita vista. Hace falta algo de mantenimiento en los baños.

We had a fantastic stay at Johns place. The location for families , young and old can't be beat being right on the beach, with easy access to the pool. The 2 units our family of 14 stayed in were clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The pull out trundle beds worked very well for us. The marina was right outside our doors where the restaurants and dolphin discovery center was. The security people at the gate were very helpful and friendly and we always felt safe. This will be a cherished family memory. Thanks John Rick and Paula Epp

Lo que nos gusto fue la ubicación de los condominios esta muy cerca del la playa, hermosa vista y cerca de la alberca, tienen muy buena seguridad, la atención de John fue buena, nos dejo lo necesario para nuestra estancia, puntos a mejorar por el precio pagado el condominio F203 creemos que le falta una renovación, algunos muebles ya se ven antiguos, diferente al condominio F303 que esta mucho mejor decorado. Algunas cosas ocupan reparación las cuales se las hicimos saber a John. Tuvimos muy buenas vacaciones, agradecemos todas las atenciones.

We really enjoyed our stay in the condos. Everything was as described, and John quickly responded to a few issues we had. The location on the beach and near restaurants was perfect.

Our family spent 9 days at John's place and loved every minute of it! From grandparents to grandchildren ages 15 months - 8 years old, as well as their parents, this place has something for everyone. The accommodations were very comfortable and included things that were super helpful for parents of young children. The views from inside and on the balconies were breath taking and the constant breeze made it very comfortable to sit outside. The condos proximity to the beach, pool, massages, restaurants and excursion sites is ideal, all within 5 minutes walking distance. And because this whole area is gated, it felt very safe to venture out at all times of the day. We did have a couple of maintenance/housekeeping issues that need to be addressed but John and his team were extremely responses and those things were taken care of within a few hours. We give this a 5 star recommendation and plan to stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed John’s place! It was spacious enough for all 12 of us including 3 kids. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and lots of beds for everyone to sleep on. I would definitely return with my family next year. We had a hard time getting into the top condo and John sent his maintenance people right away and Within 20 minutes there was a crew to help us get it. He was quick to respond and offered recommendations when asked. The place was beautiful inside and out. Dishes were available for cooking and we did use the gas grill outside. Plenty of beach gear, we all loved the goggles, floties and life jackets that were available. Transportation was easy to get to playa del Carmen from puerto adventuras. We liked the tacos and guacamole from tacos and beer the most. Thank you John for your beautiful condos!!!
