Security measures include a six-line electric fence, security cameras, and an in-house safe for guest use.

Location and Access

Tulum is rapidly developing, and many roads remain unfinished. This is typical for the area and does not indicate any safety concerns. Guests can easily walk to nearby restaurants, use taxis, rent motorcycles, or arrange private transportation through the concierge, which is recommended for convenience and local knowledge.

Important Notes

• Do not flush toilet paper or any other items down the toilet, as the plumbing uses smaller pipes that can clog easily. A $50 USD fee will be charged for plumber service calls related to clogs caused by flushing paper. Please dispose of all paper in the provided trash bins.
• Before entering the pool, guests must rinse off in the outdoor shower. Tap water contains minerals, and sunscreens or lotions can alter the pool’s pH, causing it to turn green or cloudy.
• A trusted maintenance team visits daily or every other day to monitor pool pH levels and water tank status.
• The rooftop plunge pool is not a jacuzzi or hot tub; it has no jets, only a filtration system.
• Wi-Fi service in Tulum can be intermittent due to weather or infrastructure limitations. If the connection drops, guests can contact the host for assistance restarting the router.
• Power outages are common but usually resolved within a few hours. The host will report outages to the city. Backup plans are in place if outages exceed five hours. Refunds are not provided for power interruptions as they are beyond control.
• Please keep track of garage keys; a replacement fee applies if lost.
• Only pre-approved vendors for additional services such as chefs, massages, and bartenders are allowed on the property. External vendors are not permitted.

Construction Notice

Tulum is undergoing rapid growth, and construction is prevalent throughout the area, including La Veleta, Riviera Tulum, Aldea Zamá, and the beach zone. Construction noise is common and should be expected. No refunds, discounts, or reservation changes will be offered due to construction-related disturbances.
