Fees and Charges
- An extra charge applies if any damage occurs to the condo during your stay.
- Beach Club Cafe de Playa fees:
- Lounge chairs and access to the dressing room: $25 per person per day (applies to children 12 years and older).
- Cabañas: $40 each per day, which includes access to the dressing room and pool. Towels are provided.
- Note: The short-term guest fee will be applied toward food and beverage consumption.
The Space
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Costa Rica ten years ago. We had such a wonderful experience that we decided to look for a condo there. During our visit, we received a business card from a real estate company. We planned to rent initially and use that time to search for a property to purchase.
After returning home, we contacted the real estate agent for recommendations on where to buy. Although he wasn’t affiliated with any company in Coco, he suggested looking there. We then made a reservation at the Palms Hotel and flew to Coco to explore options.
In early January 2017, we connected with a real estate company and spent a week viewing properties. We chose a one-story, one-half duplex unit located near the pool, which included an on-site washer and dryer. The lush trees and flowers around the property, along with its short walking distance to shops and the ocean, made it ideal.
This condo fulfilled my wife’s dream of owning a home by the beach. It became our getaway spot. We brought clothes, dishes, and essentials to Coco so future visits would require less luggage. We moved in February 2017 and stayed for several months.
We enjoyed daily walks along the road to the beach, admiring palm trees, flowers, and occasional iguanas. The sea was a favorite spot, and my wife loved searching for seashells. Most mornings, we walked along the beach into town for breakfast.
We discovered a local massage and hair salon, as well as our preferred fishing charter. Comey and Benny have taken us and friends fishing over ten times. We caught tuna, jack, red snapper, mahi-mahi, and other fish. Along the way, we saw turtles, whales, dolphins, birds, and various wildlife.
We also enjoyed tours to see sloths, monkeys, kinkajous, coati mundi, and other animals. Visits to the hot springs, La Leona Cave, the ox cart, and a coffee plantation were highlights.
This condo was our place to relax and create lasting memories. We met wonderful people and made great friends. Sadly, my wife passed away from cancer on August 24, 2018. I cherish the time we spent here and encourage others to enjoy life while they can.

Absolutely loved my time at Green Life! It was literally everything we were expecting. Aunt was a 15 minute walk to the beach. There was a lovely coffee shop just down the street. A small supermarket did not even need a car during my time there. The host was so wonderful to work with great communication. I would definitely stay here again.

We both enjoyed our stay at this condo location. Upon arrival the first impression was all seemed well, albeit slightly dated. However, a few negative issues occurred, such as the cleanliness under & behind furniture (dead cockroaches), as well as the toilet roll holder flaps being unhygienic underneath! The master bedroom toilet flush needs replacing due to usage, the kitchen lacks suitable surface space & lighting for food preparation. Also lacks suitably sized saucepans for regular cooking, there is only one heavy glass Pirex dish, no baking trays for use! The electric kettle works intermittently (so we used the whistling kettle on hob) & the electric toaster's underplate is held together with masking tape! The property's front door lock is out of alignment & quite fiddly to operate. We feel the property needs some TLC & some tweeking here & there. Happy to stay at location again.

The condo was great. Could have done with a few more pots and pans but other than that everything was there. The host even bought beach chairs before we arrived.

Green Life #10 has an airy feel for a compacted 2-bdrm, 2-bath, the kitchen is laid out with quiet closing drawers and cupboards. The appliances were modern even complete with a disposer. The fridge has a lot of room, but due to the hard water, the water and ice dispenser were not hooked up. The AC (3) and ceiling fans (4) worked very well to keep the condo very comfortable, even in the throes high humidity and high temps. The only drawback were the bathrooms . . . the shower, the sink and toilet were super clean, but there is no room beyond the bathroom duties (get in and get out), clean white walls with high ceilings gives the bathroom of a lot more room. Living room is fully equipped with a sturdy, but comfortable sofa with a recliner/rocker right next to the sofa. The drapery is bright, airy and cool looking, plus heavier drapes to help minimize the heat of the sun shining thru the sliders. All in all, I would not hesitate to book my next visit to Costa Rica with Elizabeth.

Great little condo with a well equipped kitchen. Fantastic big pool that we usually had to ourselves. Safe quiet community with security patrols. The beach is a 5 min walk, or 10 min walk into town. Shops and restaurants at the end of the road. Recommended.
