Villa in Playa Flamingo

Beautiful place with all amenities , very clean, stunning views and lots of wildlife right off the balcony! We woke up very early every morning to enjoy the view of the bay, birds and monkeys -just a dream! We appreciate the prompt communication and are thankful for having had the opportunity to stay at Esteban’s place. Walkable to the beach but also worth renting a car and exploring nearby beaches and areas. Some of the most beautiful sunsets we have seen so far!

Had a wonderful stay at Esteban's place it had gorgeous views and its own private pool which was perfect to cool off in in the evenings. Close to the beach with a short drive or little walk and truly beautiful place.

My group had a wonderful stay here! We enjoyed mornings on the patio overlooking the views and birdwatching. We walked to the beach and carrying the provided chairs was not too bad at all. Overall we loved the location and peacefulness of the property. Esteban was super responsive to anything we needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here

We have been coming to Flamingo Beach for 15 years. We stay at one of the individual units on the property whenever possible. The accommodations are beautiful and well loved by the owners and caretakers. The caretakers are onsite and are the lovely, helpful and kind. Esteban is a wonderful host. We can’t wait to return.

Accommodations were as described and accurate. Quiet neighbourhood and road with the police station just two doors down. Gorgeous view from the balcony and pools. We had a couple small issues (no propane for bbq, etc) but they were rectified quickly. 100% would stay here again when we return to the area.

We loved the 3-bedroom villa which we stayed in for 3 months. It takes 7-10 minutes to get all to the south side of Flamingo beach (which was awesome for our waste line). South side has milder waves and less crowded. We survived 4 weeks without a car walking to Masai store and restaurants, mostly because we stocked up at PriceSmart upon arrival. We lived Marylue and Orlando (caretakers of the property) and had a great response from Esteban in case of any mechanical issues in the house. We would highly recommend the place and will be back rather sooner.

We stayed for 4 weeks and absolutely loved it. The view is beautiful, and I always felt very safe here as a single mom with kids. The location is close to the beach and the two onsite pools were also a huge plus. The property staff and Esteban were wonderful — always helpful and responsive. The property quickly felt like home, and we would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time in Costa Rica with our 3 adult daughters. Esteban was a wonderful host and his caretaker Orlando was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was perfect and very spacious for the 5 of us. Wish there was a TV in living room but we made it work by bringing the bedroom TV over for the week. Having a pool right outside our door was awesome and the view from the infinity pool is breathtaking. The view from the house was gorgeous and well worth the adventurous dirt roads to get there. Get a 4 wheel drive and you’ll be fine. Walk to beach is about 10 min but if you’re carrying a lot down, it’s a hike back up. Would definitely return and stay at Esteban’s house in the future. Playa Conchal is a great swimming beach with mild waves and clear water. We did the Lazy Lizards sunset sailing and the Eco Adventure zip lining. Both were a lot of fun!! Coco Loco restaurant at Playa Flamingo has delicious food along with Surf Side at the marina. Tamarindo is neat to visit.
