Casa Alto Morro

We had an amazing stay at Charles’s villa! Pictures don't do it justice. The kids loved spending time between the pool and the nearly private beach. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city, this is it. We’ll certainly be recommending it to our family and friends!

An amazing house. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and very clean, which is quite rare here in Colombia. The pool is exceptional. The driver, Alonso, is great too. We used his services throughout our stay.

We spent 3 nights and 4 days as a family at this Airbnb, a great experience from start to finish. Charles, the owner, was very kind, responsive and provided us with very useful information. He recommended Alfonso for our trips to Cartagena; since the house is far from the city, having someone we could trust available 24 hours a day was invaluable. The house is exactly as described, or even better: spacious, welcoming, and very comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing family vacation, away from the hustle and bustle. There is a swimming pool and a clean and pleasant beach nearby, ideal in the morning. Nacha, who takes care of the property, was lovely, always available, discreet, and helpful. This place is ideal for enjoying Cartagena away from the tourist areas, while still having easy access to the old town. Thanks to Charles for his flexibility at check-out. The whole family thanks you!

We had a wonderful week at Casa Alto Morro! The house is even more beautiful and bigger than the photos suggest. The outdoor courtyard and pool are magnificent, and access to a semi-private beach on foot was a big plus with the kids! From the moment we booked, Charles and John were proactive in answering our questions and very accommodating with transportation and an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Marcelino and his boys, who live in the little house nearby, were more than kind, welcoming and helpful to us. We will keep a precious memory of them. I would recommend this house more to those who don't want to go out too often in the city, since the drive can be quite long... but to enjoy impeccable & functional accommodation in a magnificent landscape, it's a great choice!

It was an excellent experience; we spent a few incredible days there! Getting there was very easy, and it doesn't feel far at all, which is greatly appreciated when you want to get away from the daily grind. Privacy is the best thing about the place; it's like a magical place where you feel like you're in your own world. It's perfect for enjoying total tranquility. The proximity to the sea is a huge plus; everything in the house was impeccable, very clean, and well maintained. The gardens they have are beautiful, and I loved the kitchen, which is also very functional and has everything you need to cook in peace. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back!!!

This place is gorgeous, the house has this vibe about it that calms you. As a family of 8,4 adults , 4 children we really enjoyed ourselves. Just one good tip, prior to getting there communicate with Charles about directions. I didn’t and we didn’t have service on our phone and it was so hard because we also used uber and they struggled with the bumpy roads. And also bring some groceries, you’ll want to cook since you’re out in jungle vibes and the house is equipped with everything. Honestly, we had a beautiful stay and we played cards and board games and swam a lot. Charles is fantastic. He seems like a great human. He was always kind and thoughtful and very helpful with whatever we needed. You will not regret going here but definitely if you’re looking for a place away from people and in a serene atmosphere. Also, it was amazing for a change having a clean place. So many places in Colombia offer high end and you get there and it’s a mini nightmare. This wasn’t one and I’m beyond glad

The house is better than the pictures - very spacious, pool is lovely and just a short walk to the beach. We had a very relaxing stay, with amazing food from the recommended chef, attentive help from the caretakers as well as Alonso, the driver.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house located in beautiful and quiet natural surroundings. The house is really beautiful, and both the pool and the garden were absolutely amazing – perfect places for relaxation and pleasant days together. The area is peaceful and far away from traffic and stress, which made the stay extra relaxing. Our children also had a great time with the two friendly dogs and the cat, which they were looking forward to cuddling with every day. Janitor Marceliano, was incredibly nice and helpful. The host Charles gave clear instructions before arrival and sent useful information about what we should shop in advance, as well as which shops and restaurants were in the area. We highly recommend this place!

It's a beautiful house. The person who welcomes you is amazing and all the recommendations from John and Charles are useful. I highly recommend the house to rest, enjoy the beach and relax.

This villa is amazing! We greatly appreciated the very high quality of the facilities but also the tranquility of the environment. Absolutely everything is impeccable from the kitchen to the bedrooms and the beautiful pool! Marcellino is extremely attentive while remaining very discreet. He ensures the smooth running of the stay. All the advice given by the host (visits, chef, bike rental, restaurant, etc.) was extremely valuable. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable.
