The Space
Welcome to Sacred Space, a private riverside nature retreat located in the Diamante Valley along the banks of the Rio Baru. This charming destination offers simple, clean, and cozy private rooms designed for comfort and relaxation.
Each bedroom features:
- Two full/queen beds
- A full private bathroom
Guests have access to a shared outdoor kitchen and a variety of on-site activities, including swimming, hiking, and wildlife observation. The property also includes river pools for guests to enjoy.
If you prefer not to cook or drive, fresh vegetarian and vegan meals are available on site.
This location is ideal for those seeking to unwind and reconnect with nature.
Location
Sacred Space is nestled within the lush jungles of Costa Rica’s Diamante Valley. It is just a short hike away from Nauyaca Falls and nearby river pools. Local beaches, markets, and shops are accessible within a 10 to 20-minute drive.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to their private room, the outdoor kitchen, property amenities, and nearby natural attractions.
Other Things to Note
Each reservation covers one room, which includes two beds. Reservations do not include the entire building or multiple rooms. Thank you for your understanding.

Chris is an excellent host. The location is beautiful. Full of all things nature, friendly guests, loveable dogs, delicious fruit, great music and vibes. I've been to Costa Rica a couple of times and this is definetly the place I'll stay on my next trip.

El lugar es muy tranquilo para descanzar, la paz, y el silencio lo caracterizan, gran lugar para desconectar del stress diario, los exteriores son 100%naturaleza, a solo metros del río, en el que te puedes bañar, en aguas cristalinas y limpias, el lugar es tal cual se ve en las fotos, un plus esq desde el lugar te quedan de camino las cataratas de nahuyaca, una verdadera joya, son hermosas. Nos encantó la estadía por acá, lo recomiendo 100%. El anfitrión super amable, y accesible para todo lo q se necesite

This place is the best location & is easy to get to. The waterfalls are a very a short walk from the house & it’s ON the river which is great! The land is absolutely beautiful & Chris was one of the best host I’ve stayed with. The hospitality & kindness that was given to us was felt very deeply! It’s a beautiful community that is growing here at Finca Space! So honored to connect with Chris & excited to see where this place goes! Thank you so much!!!!!

we had an amazing time at finca space. delicious vegetarian food. really nice hosts. beautiful swimming in the river that borders the property and absolutely incredible hikes to the waterfall. very special place and perfect spot to explore the waterfalls within walking distance of their space. some of the best hiking we've found in costa rica right at their doorstep. also tons of amazing tropical fruit trees growing on the property. particularly loved eating fresh cacao !

A little corner of paradise! We had a great experience; Chris and his partner were incredibly helpful recommending is beaches to go, restaurants and activities, and the place is beautiful and convenient.. Easy to access, close to playa grande, cute restaurants and right across the street to a supermarket. Loved it!

The place is exactly the same as the images, the attention was very good and the communication was fluid. The host was very friendly and available when needed. It is close to the beach and also to places to eat and grocery stores. :)
