Overall a great location and place. A couple of lovely restaurants in walking distance and easy to get Ubers to go further afield. Rainforrest chocolate tour next door was brilliant. Unlucky with more rain than normal so useful to have great indoor space when we needed a break from it!

We had a great stay here. The home was cozy and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning that kept everything cool after long days of exploring. The showers had great water pressure, and we really enjoyed spending time in the outdoor space and the pool. The views were incredible whenever the volcano decided to make an appearance instead of hiding behind the clouds. The location was also excellent. It’s close enough to town to be convenient while still feeling peaceful, with several good restaurants nearby and many of the area’s main attractions within about a 30-minute drive. The only minor downside is that the road can be a bit noisy at times, but it wasn’t enough to take away from an otherwise excellent stay. We’d definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the La Fortuna area.

This was easily my favorite place I've stayed at on any vacation. The house is private and gated so there is nothing to worry about. It is located under 30 minutes from most attractions in the area and less than 5 minutes from La Fortuna. We utilized the outdoor kitchen most nights and ate and swam outside. The view is nothing short of remarkable with the volcano visible right out the back door. I observed toucans in the trees behind the house almost every day. I loved this place and would absolutely stay again.

The Blue Morpho Casita was a comfortable home for our family of four and within a 5 min. drive from downtown La Fortuna. We enjoyed sitting around the terrace for our morning coffee, enjoyed the backyard with the nice view of the volcano, and the local restaurants. The location of the property allowed us to explore the region in-depth during our three night stay. Jimmy was a responsive host who managed some minor hiccups very well. We recommend this place to other travelers. We also recommend bringing a pair of earplugs if you like to sleep in because the local birds can be loud.

Clean, a 5 minute walk to a top (and well priced) restaurant, quiet, 2 bathrooms, and Jimmy helped us with incredible recommendations. He even helped us book some great experiences. Highly recommended.

My family of 4 had a short stay here, but wish it was longer to explore all that La Fortuna and Jimmy’s place had to offer. Cozy and welcoming home with an amazing outdoor space and unbeatable view of Arenal. It was perfect for us and we always felt very safe and secure with the gate and security system. Don’t hesitate to book it! Thank you!

The Blue Morpho Casita was absolutely perfect for the start of our family vacation to Costa Rica! The property is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. We felt safe and right at home at this property! Waking up to the sounds of all the birds right outside our windows was incredible. We had such a fun time bird watching out at the outdoor kitchen while having our coffee. Our kids enjoyed their time spent in the pool while we relaxed on the patio. The linens were clean, beds were comfy, internet worked well, there were plenty of mugs for coffee (most important!), the home had everything we could need. We enjoyed ourselves so much and would visit again should the opportunity arise! Jimmy and his daughter had great recommendations for the area as well! 10/10 recommend Pura Vida!

The house was great very clean. Pool was great. Views of volcano. Only thing is it is close to a main road. That can be quite noisy. Just a heads up for others.

We had a great time in Arenal and Jimmy was a great host- proactive and responsive before and during the trip. Beautiful volcano view as advertised and lots to do around La Fortuna!
