Casa Serena exceeded our expectations in every way! The location is secluded and homey. It was clean, updated and my family felt right at home. The housekeeper had made fresh Star fruit juice in the fridge, from the tree out front which was so yummy. My three boys loved the infinity pool & meeting all the monkeys! We had howler monkeys wake us up most mornings lol. And a couple times a day a family of white face monkeys would come by and play in the trees, even jump up on the roof and visit the pool for a sip and dip!! It was a dream come true because we'd read reviews saying there were monkeys. There were lots of squirrel monkeys everywhere as well, so cute!! The birding was unbelievable, I heard over 18 different birds on my Merlin Bird App. And I saw Scarlet McCaws, a Fiery-billed Aracari and a Lessons motmot! The host, Wai, was exceptional!! He was available, friendly and helpful every step of the way. If you're visiting Costa Rica, do NOT miss this slice of paradise. Pura Vida✌🏼

We enjoyed our stay at Srinivas's home in Manuel Antonio. It is nearly surrounded by forest, and we saw some wildlife from the deck, primarily in the morning. The staff we encountered were kind. We had a couple hiccups during our stay. One of the air conditioners was broken when we arrived. It was "fixed" within a couple of hours but didn't function optimally during our stay. Our interaction with the concierge was sparse, and there were times when he didn't respond to our text messages. However, Srinivas is a top notch Airbnb host. He was very quick to respond to our messages when we couldn't reach the concierge, and he offered several reasonable remedies when it initially seemed like the air conditioner was completely broken. He also followed-up after our stay.

This home was the highlight of our stay in Costa Rica. We saw more animals just sitting out by the pool than we did in the national park. The home was also spotless and comfortable and the housekeeper and concierge were both so friendly. Would highly recommend.

Loved our stay here and would gladly return! The concierge, Wai, was super helpful and kind. The tours he set up for us were perfect — zip lining with Canopy Safari, tubing H2O adventures, and Sukia night hike. Everyone was professional, fun, and we learned a lot! The house is big, comfortable, and the pool was a great size for our family of 4. There is a/c in the bedrooms and lots of places to hang out. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The location feels remote but only a 5 min drive to the main road. You need a car and walking to anything is unlikely although it’s doable. If you rent a car, use one of the companies that have an office in MA. We wish we had done the airport shuttle and a local rental for ease. Enjoy!

Casa Serena was by far the nicest house I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was immaculate, comfortable, and well stocked. The backyard with pool was unbelievable - we spent all day out there one day because it was just so lovely. We saw Titi monkeys, capuchin monkeys, Scarlett macaws, frogs, and more right from the pool. Conveniently located within 10 minutes of the beach and Manuel Antonio park, and close to many great restaurants and shops. Cannot recommend more highly!

Casa Serena is AMAZING! The pictures were great but reality was even better. We had visits from squirrel monkeys and white capuchin monkeys almost daily in addition to a variety of birds, exotic insects and a really cool frog! Wai was an amazing concierge.

We had a magical stay at the Casa Serena. We saw more wildlife from our back porch than at the National Park. Howler monkeys leaped from branch to branch in the backyard; Two Toucans roosted in the top of the tree beside the house; and squirrel monkeys played on the top porch one early morning. The staff is helpful and kept the pool, the grounds and the house clean and beautiful. You could have your whole vacation just staying in—walking the private trail to the waterfall, swimming in the pool while watching monkeys and eating on one of the two outside tables identifying birds!

We had a great stay at Casa Serena! Don’t think, just book. We had daily visits from the wildlife including white face monkeys, squirrel monkeys, toucans, iguanas, and more. We were one with nature - better than any ‘for hire tour’ around. Highly recommend the chef service.

We loved our stay at Casa Serena. It was a truly memorable experience. The pool and outdoor area is beautifully set up with amazing views. We loved seeing and hearing the wildlife including toucans, monkeys and iguanas. Wai did a great job sorting everything out for us. Would thoroughly recommend.
