Sunrise Chalet

Lovely place, great sunrises, and a nice swimming dock.

Would echo all recommendations before us! A beautiful chalet, with an incredible view of the lake, and all the amenities you could need being in a peaceful oasis like a full kitchen, quick access to town, bottled drinking water, and washer/dryer. The short walk to town via the shoreline trail made it easy to access local restaurants and shops. Read Kristiina’s notes and recommendations and your stay will be so easy. We used her recommendations for transportation and boat transfers, and they were wonderful and extremely knowledgeable of the lake. Would return in a heartbeat!

Great place, location in a quite place of the lake

We had a beautiful stay in the chalet. The place is super nice, facing the lake, quiet and perfect for disconnecting. We really enjoyed both the indoor spaces and the surroundings. Communication and service were also excellent. Definitely a place we would go back to!

This place was amazing! The property was conveniently located, yet still private. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance and the private dock was amazing for swimming and catching lancha. 10/10 would come back!!

Our stay at Kristiina’s place was perfect. It is absolutely gorgeous to have a sunset view out of any bedroom waking up in the morning. It is incredibly peaceful and it’s easy to get a boat from there to go to any of the other towns. Even though Santa Cruz is small town there are some really great and fun food options right around there. The beds were comfortable, the showers were nice and hot or cold, depending on what you wanted, the kitchen was well equipped, and I think the place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. We had a slight mishap in our trip that had absolutely nothing to do with our stay there, it just happened when we were away from the Airbnb. The owners were very helpful and even offered to buy us pizza because we had had a hard day. That is the definition of hospitality in my book. I would gladly come back to stay here anytime!

The place is beautiful and has everything you need for an incredible stay. It is very quiet and private. The facilities are in optimal condition, and the view and location are unbeatable.

Amazing place in an amazing location - the pictures do not do it justice. The checkin and checkout process were so easy, with someone coming to meet us directly at the docks and help bring our stuff to the home. We could not recommend this place any more! The location right on the lake is pristine and is one of the best places in Atitlan for swimming. Kristina helped arrange a home cooked meal from a Santa Cruz local, Dona Elena - we highly recommend doing that!
