The Space
Welcome to Casa Tinto, a private, gated luxury home offering stunning ocean views in one of Playa Grande's most exclusive residential neighborhoods. Situated on 1.5 acres, this single-level residence boasts 300-degree views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding tropical dry forest, including nearby Las Baulas National Park.
The home features four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The master suite includes a soaking tub and a spacious walk-in shower. Each additional bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and comfortable beds with fine linens, perfect for relaxing after a day of surfing, fishing, or exploring the area. There is also a poolside bathroom for convenient access without entering the main house.
The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area showcases volume ceilings with wood beams and breathtaking ocean views. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, an oversized refrigerator, wood cabinetry, granite countertops, a large island, and a breakfast bar.
Step outside to the expansive terrace through sliding glass doors, where you will find pool loungers, a sofa seating area, a dining table, and a personal outdoor kitchen complete with an oven. The infinity edge pool offers spectacular sunset views. Additional outdoor amenities include surf racks, outdoor showers, and a ping-pong table.
Casa Tinto also provides high-speed internet, a 65-inch smart TV, a SONOS sound system, and a full-sized washer and dryer in the laundry room.
Location
Casa Tinto is located just a short walk from the town of Playa Grande and about one hour from Liberia International Airport. The property sits at a higher elevation toward the back of the lot, providing unparalleled ocean, mountain, and valley views.
This home is part of a small residential community with full-time neighbors on both sides. To maintain a peaceful environment, guests are asked to minimize noise between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Within a 20-minute drive, you can access numerous beautiful beaches. Nearby amenities include a gym, yoga studio, tennis courts, hiking and biking trails, restaurants, and bars.

We had such an amazing time at Keith’s house. His home is beautiful and you can’t beat that view! It was spacious and had everything we needed. Close to delicious restaurants— we recommend Kike’s Place. We would definitely stay here again!

Keith’s place is amazing! It has amazing views from all rooms. The kitchen is very well stocked. Beds are comfy. Nice that all rooms have attached bathrooms. The pool is clean and a nice temperature. We had a wonderful week!

This is an incredible stay in an amazing area. The house is better than the photos and the perfect base for exploring the Guanacaste area. Playa Grande is a much more peaceful alternative to Tamarindo with some great restaurants and a lovely beach. The house itself is clean, secure, spacious, and accommodated 2 families of 4 perfectly. The views and outdoor area are fantastic. Marcelo, the concierge was friendly and helpful. We loved it so much we hope to return!

Our family of 6 adults had a lovely stay at Casa Tinto. We enjoyed being off the beaten path yet walkable to some great restaurants. The house was perfect - from the en suite bathrooms to the well-stocked kitchen to the fabulous outdoor areas. We even had a local chef come in and make a dinner for us. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The ocean views and sunset were amazing as was the pool. Couldn’t see or hear any neighbors so quite private and peaceful feeling. Loved the flora and fauna around the house. Could easily walk to the small town of Playa Grande with a few great restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. The finishes in the home were nicer than in the photos. No issues with the house at all and concierge, housekeeping, and owner were all friendly and responsive.

Had a fantastic time. The pool and pool area was super. Beds were very comfortable and having private bath aligned with each bedroom was huge plus. Easy access and felt safe with gated property. Property was clean and spacious. Communications with Keith and concierge were excellent. Participated in a couple of tours arranged by concierge that were outstanding. Views from property were awesome. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.
