2BR Bungalow in Tamarindo

The accommodation was very well maintained. The upstairs air conditioners took a while to cool the rooms (they should turn them on before the guests arrive to make it more comfortable). There were many steps to get in with suitcases and other things from the vehicle. Finally, we realized that there was another entrance on the upper street. If we had known, it would have been very helpful (the guard could provide information).

We spent 17 wonderful days at Casa Leona. Danielle was always helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions. The entire team was also exceptionally friendly. The apartment is in immaculate condition and was always very clean. The location of the house is simply fantastic, you can walk to everything. We would come back to come back in a moment!

Comfortable place for a family & safe. A few things I wish I would have known but wouldn’t have changed my booking; it’s hot upstairs, the water pressure was a trickle in the shower & no hot water. They were having water issues that was not their fault but water pressure would be the same. Lots of red ants but they gave us spray, barking dog nextdoor- not their control, the pool is not usable in the heat; it’s hot and super small so we just used Langosta Beach Club and had a blast. Beds were comfortable and the guard was super nice. Get a golf cart to get around, just makes it easier.

We had a lovely time staying at the Leona house, Tamarindo itself was beautiful but coming back to the house always a reward itself; it was our first time in Tamarindo and this home made it feel like we were locals, it was easy to adapt and feel at home. The place was very private and felt safe at all times (night time there is a guard taking care of the place). staff was also very nice and were there for anything we needed. Our host was always on top of any of our needs; My friends and I will for sure return if we ever find ourselves in Tamarindo again.

Fantastic stay. This is a family-run boutique operation, and we had the main house at the back of the property. Comfortable and well-equipped with excellent service and amenities including the refreshing pool. Responsive to all requests we had. Location was perfect - walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, nightlife and the beach yet jussssssst far enough that it was quite and serene after dark, to enjoy some quiet time on the patio balcony outside the French doors! Secure with a private security detail at night who met us with a smile and fist bump upon our returns from dinner. Highly recommend.

Casa Leona was perfectly located in town, but far enough away from the busy noisy downtown of Tamarindo, but still easily accessible to the beach and restaurants. Nice place to stay. Layout of the house separated sleeping quarters from kitchen/living room areas.

We really enjoyed Evelyn’s spot! It fit 6 of us perfectly and it was nice to have two bathrooms for all of us as well. We felt super safe there and loved it. Evelyn was super responsive when I had questions. I would return!

The staff were so friendly. Bikes and Surf Boards were available for us to use free and that was such a pleasant surprise and very appreciated. Rooms were clean and so comfy. Note there is a place to rinse off shoes outside but we found bit too late. Pool was great, BBQ area clean. Overall a great experience. Thanks Evelyn!

Evelyn was a wonderful host! She provided beach towels, access to surfboards/bikes, and the entire home was beautiful. She was so kind and her hospitality was over the moon!
