The location & view are outstanding! Gorgeous place to wake up & see the water & the island. Pool was great & we enjoyed the howler monkeys, birds, & iguanas from every deck in the house. The house was gorgeous & exceptionally clean & kept up. The beds were comfortable. There were lots of extra blankets & pillows. We've stayed in many places in Costa Rica & this was by far the cleanest / best maintained. The kitchen & bathrooms were well stocked. It was very easy to get in / out of & close to town so we could quickly run out for groceries. They cleaned the pool & yard each morning which was very nice. Everyone was super nice & responsive. We booked the kayak & snorkeling tour to the island through our host & it was very simple. The only annoyance was the TVs in the bedrooms are older & hard to set up. The hallway one worked great & we eventually plugged our laptop in via HDMI to the bedroom TV & watched AppleTV through there. Would 100% stay here again! Highly recommend!

We booked another place and couldn't get there because of the route, but it was the best thing that could have happened to us, because we found this place and loved it. The house is beautiful, it has all the necessary amenities, and the pool is a hit. Highly recommended and beautiful.

This place is stunning! Great views, beautiful pool and patio area. Good comfortable bedrooms with a/c, especially the 3rd floor principle suite. (So lots of stairs) Gated property so felt very safe. Good fish and local produce available nearby, and beach is 2 min drive. Would love to come back here!

Adrian’s home is beautiful and has spectacular views! When we arrived the main floor bathroom had an “out of order” sign and was broken for our stay so that was a bit inconvenient. The location is ideal for access to Samara, Carrillo beach, and many other destinations. The only word of caution is that the walk to the nearby beach requires a few minutes on a very busy road with no shoulder or sidewalks so it’s not ideal for kids. We drove to the beach each day. But overall the stay was wonderful and we would recommend it!

Adrian’s place was wonderful. The views were amazing, the pool and outdoor spaces were so inviting, and the kitchen was really well-stocked for cooking. The main floor did get hot during 90 degree weather but we used the fans and opened doors to keep it as comfortable as possible. The bedrooms were spacious and the AC and automatic blinds worked perfectly. We also saw a lot of wildlife, which was a treat- coati, parrots, a family of iguanas that visited daily, geckos and other lizards, a howler monkey, and a huge variety of birds. Mornings were delightful. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay - it’s got a stunning view of the ocean, Chora Island, the vegetation on the property and surrounding forest. The pool was so nice and warm. Great size and depth. Lots of space in the bedrooms and bathrooms, outdoor living, kitchen and dining. Kitchen was stocked. They helped with tours, chef and transfers. I wouldn’t say it’s walkable to town, no safe path, but less than five minutes drive. We rented a side by side ATV from Jungle Monsters which was perfect for getting to Sámara and around as a family of 4. It was really nice to have the security guard at the entrance 24 hours and they took care of cleaning the pool. We would highly recommend. Luxury view and accommodations.

Good place with incredible views. While it was noted that the downstairs did not have air conditioning, it was tough. We spent a lot of time in the pool or our bedrooms. Great communication by the host, but the property management team needs work.

Thank goodness for AC in the bedrooms! Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary appliances. The pool was beautiful and morning coffee outside was lovely! Beautiful view! The beds were comfortable and a nice selection of pillows! There wasn’t enough seating for the 6 of us on the couches. The dining chairs need to be replaced as the covering was peeling off as we sat. It’s a great home for couples or a family. Not really walking distance, but a very short drive to the beaches.

We had an amazing time and fell in love with Samara. The house has incredible views and the property manager was always quick to respond. I would highly recommend renting a car or golf cart as the road you have to walk on to get to the nearest beach entrance is quite busy and curvy and not really walking distance to town. The only main disappointment was the lack of air conditioning on the main floor as the listing says air conditioning. It made cooking really hot. The propane tank under the kitchen island is also a bit questionable.

Very nice place and location close to both beaches, Carrilo and Sámara, some amenities were not in service, but it was not relevant, we had a great time and would choose the same place again.
