This was a great airbnb. We loved the close proximity to La Fortuna/El Salto and other activities. It's also wonderful to just relax at. The kids loved the pool and slide while we hung out in the hammocks at the Ranchero. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. We cooked multiple meals in the kitchen and it was not only stocked with basic utensils, but possibly overstocked! We also did loads of laundry and the more traditional washing machine was efficient and flexible. We had a little concern with the hot water heaters that Tadora addressed immediately with a friendly troubleshooting phone conversation. The local kitty came to visit. And there are fruit trees on property that Tadora offered to us if ready. We enjoyed a fresh and sweet pineapple. As noted with some reviews, there is a courtyard area that each of the bedrooms and kitchen/living room open up to. Think of it as a giant (outdoor)family room instead of "seperate" houses that are around it.

The location is peaceful with a great, fully fenced yard and a view of the Arenal volcano. We were a bit concerned about the bedrooms only being accessible by outside doors, but our grandkids (8 & 12) had no issues with the set up. The outdoor area is awesome with lots of seating and a decent sized pool and water slide. The hosts are very responsive and gave Juan helped us book a coffee and chocolate tour. Thanks Juan!

The house is very nice, very clean, it has everything you need for a private and quiet stay. The kitchen is well stocked. The rooms are quite spacious and separate. The internet works well, however it does not cover the entire house, in the ranch area it does not reach far enough, there is no local television and we had problems connecting the cell phone and projecting. The hosts always answered our questions and the level of response was always almost immediate!

Tadora’s place was perfect for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the pool and the layout with the outdoor sitting area was perfect. Tadora was very responsive and resolved all of our questions very quickly. Would highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Tadora’s place was perfect for our family of 6. The house was very clean, the pool and outdoor area was beautiful and very enjoyable, and Tadora was extremely responsive with any questions we had. We all also enjoyed Juan’s private tours and butterfly dome!

The hosts Tadora and Juan were very responsive and receptive to our requests and quick to solve any problems or issues. However the home itself was a major disappointment for our family. The setup of the home was not friendly for small children. There are three main rooms and each one is accessed from the patio via separate exterior doors. This wasn’t accurately described in the listing and caused us lots of stress during our stay due to our child wanting to open the doors to go between the rooms or out to the pool and always needing supervision to do so. The living room area is very small and the stone counter is the perfect height for a toddler to smack their head on, the bathrooms are small, the toilets had a hard time flushing, and the washing machine is extremely difficult to use without any instructions (must manually fill the tub with the hose and has a separate drum for a spin cycle - I’ve never seen a washer like it). The location isn’t very convenient to tours or town.
