La casa de Carolyn es una cabaña tipo estudio frente al mar, hecha artesanalmente, con pisos de madera noble y una decoración sencilla de estilo isleño inspirada en el encanto relajado de Caye Caulker. Se encuentra justo a las afueras del centro del pueblo, con fácil acceso a tiendas y restaurantes, mientras permanece en un vecindario tranquilo y apacible.

Los frescos vientos alisios del Caribe ayudan a mantener el espacio fresco y cómodo. La propiedad fue diseñada intencionalmente sin aire acondicionado ni televisión para que los huéspedes puedan disfrutar de la vida natural de la isla, el sonido de las olas y tiempo de calidad con sus seres queridos.
Relájese en el patio privado con un libro o una bebida fría, observe cómo las palmeras se mecen con la brisa o tome el sol en la zona de playa arenosa utilizando las sillas reclinables proporcionadas.
No se recomienda nadar directamente frente a la propiedad porque esta es una costa natural. Para nadar, The Split es uno de los lugares más populares de la isla y está a poca distancia a pie.
Sobre los propietarios
Mark y Carolyn, los propietarios de Carolyn’s House y Carolyn’s Other House, compraron esta propiedad frente al mar hace más de 25 años. Antes de que se construyera cualquier edificación, se casaron en este terreno. Después de regresar muchas veces a Caye Caulker, finalmente decidieron construir allí.
Mark y sus amigos construyeron con cariño la cabaña original, Carolyn’s House, con hermosos pisos de madera noble y una decoración sencilla que resalta la belleza natural de los alrededores. La cabaña ha recibido a viajeros de todo el mundo y rápidamente se convirtió en una de las favoritas de los huéspedes.

Close enough to walk to just about anywhere. place is amazing and just for enough away to have quiet moments, but close enough to hit some evening entertainment if you want it. place was super close to the water, yet shaded perfectly with palms in the morning.

Wow. This place was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Perfect location for us outside the busier part of town, but quick and easy to walk everywhere. We rented bikes for the duration of our stay and found it very convenient to get around that way, especially since the house is right on the beach path. We spent most of our trip diving and appreciated having the bikes to get to the dive shops quickly. It was very nice to return each night to this quieter, more private part of the island, and being next to the beach bar and right on the water was an added bonus. We enjoyed the porch chairs and hammock for relaxing with coffee in the morning or a beer in the afternoon. It was hot and humid while we were there but it was not a problem for us with the fans and good air flow through the house. Sticky but we appreciated that no AC encourages you to open the home up to the sea breeze and beauty just outside! Highly recommend and will for sure return.

We enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s place! The beach house had everything we need and the view of the sun rising in the morning was very nice. The Barefoot Beach bar was convenient for a drink and a bonfire. We will be returning.

A+ stay at an A+ location for 6 days on Caye Caulker. Walked and biked everywhere. Swam off the pier. Ate local dishes. Danced and sang. And the breeze blowing all night made the place even better. Will absolutely stay here again. This might be one of my favorite AirBnB’s of all time.

We stayed at Carolyn's house for 5 nights and it was the perfect place for us. Location was close enough to town to walk or ride bikes. Far enough from town to make it quiet. They had bikes for us to rent it too.

This was a great choice for stay in caye caulker! Check in was easy, and Amelia arranged pick up from the airport to the ferry, and then from the ferry to the house. It’s got a beautiful view with a private dock that we really enjoyed! The sunrise here was lovely every morning! Easy 15 minute walk on the well lit beach path to the split & lots of restaurants, bars & convenience stores. Very safe & quiet area (prefer this over the loud & noisy split party areas). There was no AC but the fans were perfect!! There were lots of little dogs that followed us around. Over all it was the perfect weekend stay, and we will definitely be back to stay with Amelia!

This is one of those places I'd like to bad-mouth because of fear that it might already be booked when I next can come--but that's not cool. So, I'll say this: I can't say a single negative word about Carolyn's House and my stay there. It was my first trip and not my last. And I won't even consider "shopping around". I'm a writer and this was truly my Hemmingway place".

I stayed here and it was extremely clean, easy to get too. Amelia was very helpful, she arranged pick up from the airport, to the ferry, and into the airbnb. She accommodated everything so well. The airbnb was a bit far from the hotspots, however you have the ability to rent her bike or get a golf cart which is what I did. Such a lovely, cute place. Thank you Amelia, ill be back soon!

This house is an absolute gem on the island. The proximity to town was perfect, both walkable and separated. It was a perfect space for me week stay and had everything I needed and more. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway that is still close enough to enjoy the islands entertainment and amenities
