The house is very ample except for the living room. It is not too far from the 5th and major stores but if you are elderly or are not fit you best bet is to lease a vehicle. The host can provide transfers, a rental vehicle, or book tours but they charge more. My transfer from the airport to the property with them was 1,800 pesos but on my way back I got it from someone else for 1,200 pesos (20 dls less) We had an incident with a cell phone left behind in the transfer vehicle. We immediately told the host and she promised to get it back but did not and I ended up having to pay 900 pesos to retrieve it. I felt that was dishonest and just a chance for the host to make more money off of us. The reason I say that is because she could’ve given the driver a call right then or could’ve given me the # to talk to the driver directly but she never did. Sadly there are a lot of “sharks” in tourist destinations where the locals will take advantage if you don’t know the place or the language.

Everything was very good, especially the owners are completely trustworthy and gave us super valuable information for logistics to Cozumel and restaurants. It is very important that all rooms have air conditioning, and make the stay much more pleasant. The area is quiet and safe, you can park on the street although it also has private parking inside the house.
