This was easily the best place we've ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice! Close enough to tamarindo, but far enough so that it is quiet. Pastora was very helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!

The place is amazing, I would definetly come back. Everything is clean and Pastora (the host) is very responsive and helpful. One of the best airbnb I have rented. As many comments state, you need a 4x4 to climb up the last few meters.

This was an amazing airbnb! It's up in the foothills, so it was somewhat difficult to find, but it was all worth it when we opened the door and saw the view from the infinity pool. You can see the surrounding country side and the pacific ocean all from the lounging area and pool. We had monkeys, racoons, cute little skunks, birds of all kinds that we enjoyed watching and taking pictures of. This place was a 10 out of 10 and we plan to stay again next year. Great job Pastora!

This place was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. The pictures do not do it justice. Every part of the house is perfect and the sunsets are amazing to watch sitting by the pool. It was everything I was looking for my family. One day we even had howler monkeys join us while we were sitting outside it was beyond words how close they were to us. What an amazing time. Costa Rica and this house did not disappoint!!!

I can describe our stay in Cimantella with a single word... it was a "dream." Everything was much more than I expected. The house itself is indescribable. Not even the photos can describe it. You have to experience it and feel it. The cleanliness is unbeatable. Everything is impeccable: bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms. There wasn't even a leaf in the pool. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There's everything in the kitchen. You feel right at home. I recommend the house 100%.

This place felt like a hidden paradise. The serene views—jungle meeting ocean—were magical, and the peaceful seclusion made it hard to leave the villa. We were greeted with tropical fruits, which was such a warm touch. The infinity pool was gorgeous, and seeing monkeys, birds, and squirrels was pure magic. While the A/C worked great, definitely bring bug spray—those little flying ants love the evening! The property is secure, with hosts on-site and quick to help—they were proactive when the pool lights weren’t working well. The climb up is steep, but worth it for the privacy. Just note, you’ll need to drive out for nicer beaches, as the immediate area isn’t that charming. But once you settle in, you’ll want to stay. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed for a week at Pastora’s Villa and it was honestly one of the best, if not the best experience. If it matters, I travel quite a bit and have been to Tamarindo 3 times so far. What stole the show was the 240 degree view of the ocean and mountains from the endless pool. We saw monkeys, iguanas and deer paying us a visit. Pastora made sure to keep the place clean and even did our laundry without us asking, which was a pleasant surprise! The last 30 yards of the drive up is not the easiest but you get a hang of it pretty quickly, it is asphalted. Thank you very much Pastora and everyone else for making this experience possible!

This is by far one of our favourite rentals ever. There is not much to say over and above the other reviews except don't be intimidated by the driveway. It's easy once you do it once and it gives you the most amazing view. Pastora and Mario are genuinely caring and responsive hosts. We cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you Pastora and Mario for everything! The Cinematella 1 rental is showing its age here and there but honestly, it is so much better than we imagined in every other way, it is so well cared for, we just loved it. Don't hesitate to rent here.
