Villa Karol

Villa Karol was so cool. The mod style of the architecture made us drool. The sparkling pool and spacious kitchen were key, if you’re like my friends and I you will also see. I wouldn’t hesitate to re-book it. No regrets, I can assure it!

We took a family trip for my 50th birthday to escape the Siberia of Chicago. It was a short trip with multi generations—grandparents and high school and college aged children. The place was beautiful! It was incredibly peaceful and offered the perfect amount of space to allow for downtime and get together time. We sat at the island for breakfast and snacks, we lounged in the sun next to the pool, and we brought on extra chats from outside for a movie night. It was chilly the weekend we were there. It was perfect for worshiping the sun and bike riding but not quite warm enough to swim. Lupita was a godsend. She arranged our bikes and scooter rental, put us in touch with the airport shuttle, and recommended a restaurant our first night. If you like the way this incredible villa looks in the photos, this is what you’ll get.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect — plenty of great restaurants and cafés just a short walk away, which made exploring the area super convenient. The house itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with plenty of room for our family to relax. The large pool was a highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both lounging and swimming throughout the day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a wonderful experience — we’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

This is a wonderful place in a great neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The home is beautifully appointed very secure and has a great pool. We felt very comfortable and were able to fully enjoy the accommodation. The hosts communicated clearly and in a timely manner relieving all anxiety that could accompany checking in and out. A definite venue when we come back to Tulum.

This house is beautiful. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works very well. We had enough beach towels and showers. The pool is really beautiful and clean, a nice size, lit at night. The table outside allowed us to have a good time. It is very safe because there are electric wires to keep out strangers. This house is a two-minute walk from the main street of La Valleta district. There are plenty of small restaurants and bars that are affordable compared to the hotel area. The streets are neglected, there is some pollution, but it's the same everywhere in Tulum. The only slightly negative point, the house does not have a dishwasher and it is poorly equipped in the kitchen but for our part, we did not plan to eat there much, only our lunches and 3 dinners so it was ok. If there was anything we needed, I texted Lupita and I had it all quickly.

Lupita provided great information leading up to arrival. The place was exactly as the pictures described. The location was close to restaurants and not far from Centro. Lupita was very responsive to a couple of minor requests. There are a number of great restaurants to chose from in Tulum and none disappointed. Everyone is very friendly. A great experience.

The villa had everything needed to relax in complete luxury. Also the service during the stay was fantastic. This cottage is highly recommended, both for a group of friends and for a stay with multiple families in Tulum.

beautiful house in a great location. lots of restaurants in the area and a short walk to downtown. house was clean and modern and the host was very responsive. The road in front of the house was very rough so be prepared for that.
