Luxury villa with world class ocean view and pool

We just returned home from our trip to Casa Vela and it was outstanding. We had three adult couples and the space was great, not too big, not too small, just right! Bryan was very accommodating and informative. We had a need of some kitchen towels and they were there next day. Bryan recommended Sandra for massage and she was great! She brought an assistant and we had three couples massage while the others enjoyed the pool. We met Carlos the groundskeeper and he was super friendly and nice. The road to get up to the house is pretty rough but slow and steady wins every time, 2wd was fine. THE SUNSETS OMG! Perfect views of the clouds and colors putting on a daily show. We look forward to returning!

Very cool and probably somewhat unique experience in the area of being elevated over everything. The views are amazing, accommodations are great and the host was very communicative. Everything you would want out of a stay. I would say here again.

Beautiful view, very private. My kids enjoyed the pool and my husband enjoyed the hammock. Would recommend.

We stayed here for one night and overall had a wonderful experience. The view is absolutely stunning even better in person and my mom truly loved waking up to it. The home is beautiful, very private, and the pool is spacious and perfect for relaxing. We made a great breakfast in the morning and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The host was excellent extremely responsive, flexible, and easy to communicate with. We had to adjust one of our dates and he handled everything quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated. The home is a bit tucked away, so a 4x4 vehicle is definitely necessary. The roads are somewhat rough, and it’s about 10–15 minutes to reach the main road where the markets and restaurants are located. For us, it made it feel very private and serene, which was lovely for a short stay. If you’re a large family looking to settle in and fully enjoy the property, it’s a great fit. For just two people like my mom and me, just a day or two was fine.

As others already stated it’s off the beaten path to get up to Bryan’s Villa but well worth the effort. I’d suggest a 4 wheel drive vehicle, although we saw car make the trip up too. This place is perfect if you want privacy and quiet. Nights were absolutely amazing, star gazing and listening to the howler monkeys and birds do there thing at dusk. Playa Penca is super close and has pretty good snorkeling. We saw spotted Rays, all kinds of star fish , puffers and all the usual suspects expected in these waters. Rustic , authentic country feel in the area with lots to explore. Got some amazing fresh juices from road stands and locals who sell their fruits , empanadas and other delicious things. Bryan was responsive 100% of the times we tea reached out , had a great recommendation list of activities, restaurants and general information. Having traveled the Caribbean and Europe and stayed in many Air BBs I would say this is a prime example of what a super host should be . Thanks Bryan!!

If you’re questioning booking this place, JUST BOOK IT! The house is so beautiful and clean. The VIEW there is the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen! The pool is perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset and it’s secluded enough to feel far from everything, but only a ten minute drive to town makes it super easy to get to restaurants, markets and the beach!
