Stylish Apartment w/ Workspace, Pool & Gym

Gorgeous apartments with a fresh renovation. It was very pleasant to stay there. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The floor was very dirty — it wasn’t noticeable at first glance, but after walking around the apartment barefoot, the soles of our feet turned black. Also, one of the beds had dirty bed linen on it. The duvet cover had some kind of stains on it, and the sheet had strange marks as well. It was very unpleasant, and we had to figure out an alternative sleeping arrangement for the first night and wash the bedding ourselves. I also think the stay would be much more comfortable if cleaning were included every few days for guests staying longer than 2–3 days. Trash bags fill up, and it’s not really clear where guests are supposed to dispose of them.

El apartamento es muy bonito y cómodo. Estuvimos ahí unos días con la familia. La ubicación es excelente y la vista a las montañas es preciosa. Los dormitorios son un poco calientes ya que no tienen aire acondicionado, pero en general pasamos muy bien.

This was my forth trip To Costa Rica, this was my first time taking my family over. This was the ideal accommodations, modern, private, great location and awesome customer service all around. Melissa our host was there every step to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Hats off to the security team. We will be booking again in the near future. Awesome spot, and the views of the mountains are priceless.

Melissa is a superhost indeed! Her place is a perfect hidden gem just a block from the main street that goes through Escazú with plenty of shops and restaurants. The apartment complex is beautiful and quiet with a great social space, bbqs, swing hammocks and large pool. The apartment itself has amazing views of the neighbouring garden with Papaya and Mango trees as well as picturesque views of the mountains in the distant backdrop. While centrally located in one of the best areas just outside the city of San José, it still feels like you are somewhere in the mountains. I lived in the Costa Rican Central Valley on and off for nearly 7 years over a period of 15 years, and this apartment was one of the best places I have stayed while visiting the city since moving back home. It truly feels like a spacious home away from home with all the necessary amenities such as a laundry room and fully equipped kitchen for home chefs! The security staff is also extremely welcoming! I would stay again!

¡Me encantó el airbnb! Es exactamente como se ve en las fotos y demasiado cómodo. Además, en uno de los mejores lugares de Costa Rica, para nada me arrepiento de haberme alojado allí. En algunas ocasiones, nada más, la comunicación con Melissa no fue muy buena ante ciertas situaciones porque se tarda en responder. Pero por lo demás, muy amable y atenta cuando debe dar instrucciones y demás. Recomiendo mucho este airbnb si vienen en familia o con amigos.

We selected this location due to the closeness to several family members and their homes. It was also close to everything, lots of great restaurants, several markets, very walkable, close to the church where the family wedding took place. Also several GF restaurants for my celiac daughter. Everyone speaks English. At this time of the year leaving rainy season going into dry season, it’s a perfect month and not as pricey. There is no AC which can be problematic in the warmer months, the host did provide fans for the bedrooms. The views of San Jose and the mountains was spectacular and the facilities /gym were very modern along with the pool.
