Villa Tucan

Overview

Villa Tucan is a family-run property managed by locals originally from La Fortuna. It offers modern, comfortable rooms set within a peaceful and secluded area surrounded by a private forest. Guests can enjoy the feeling of being immersed in the jungle, with beautiful natural scenery around each room. With only eight rooms available, the atmosphere is intimate and quiet. Birdwatching is a popular pastime here, especially while enjoying a morning coffee on the front porch.

The pool and covered hot tub provide relaxing spaces with stunning views of the volcano.

The Space

• The property features a total of six rooms.
• There is a shared kitchen available for guest use; please keep this area clean and organized.
• Daily cleaning service is provided upon request, scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (please turn the sign on the door to indicate your preference).
• The kitchen is separate from the rooms and shared among guests.
• Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi (200 Mbps download and upload) is accessible in the rooms, kitchen, and pool area.
• The swimming pool and hot tub are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. Chemicals are applied after hours.
• The hot tub heater operates automatically from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To use the jacuzzi, simply turn on the switch located on the pole beside it. Please remember to turn it off when finished.

House Rules and Additional Information

• Please keep noise levels down after 8:00 p.m. Loud music is prohibited at all times to maintain a relaxing environment for all guests.
• For security reasons, visitor access is not permitted; only registered guests may enter the property.
• Families traveling with babies can request a crib in advance before check-in.
• Parking is free and available next to your villa inside the property.

Check-In Process

Check-in is self-service. One day before arrival, guests will receive instructions and a code to access the gated entrance, which features an electric gate.

The host lives on-site with their family and is available for assistance. With experience in tourism since 2008, they can provide helpful information about the area and assist with booking tours at discounted rates.
