This property is situated on a spacious 800-square-meter lot, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys and toucans, with the nearest beach and store just 1.5 kilometers away.

Important Notes
Please keep in mind that this is a tropical location in Costa Rica, surrounded by nature. Occasional insects may enter the home despite monthly natural insecticide treatments and thorough sealing. A hand vacuum is available for removing any unwanted visitors, though often an open door and broom suffice.
To protect the septic system, please dispose of all bathroom products, including toilet paper, in the trash cans provided. Trash bins are located at the top of the block and outside the home for your convenience. Guests are encouraged to take any food waste or items that might attract wildlife to these bins.
For ventilation, the bathroom window remains open. Please ensure the bathroom door is closed when the air conditioning is running.

This property is beautiful and a short drive to Playa Negra and the nearby Puerto Viejo downtown. Auset was very helpful and communicative when her place gave us a little trouble to find at first. The place itself is cozy, clean, and provides everything you need to kick back. Thank you for hosting us, Auset!

The little house of your dreams... Lost in the jungle, at the end of a long, bumpy track (2.7 km). Without a car, rent a motorcycle (approx. $150/week); by bike it's a bit difficult. Tidy and modern decor. Well-equipped kitchen (gas stove, oven, microwave), Wi-Fi that works well even in isolated areas, washing machine, hairdryer, steam steamer, bedside lamps, plenty of hangers. Comfortable bed, impeccable house. Nice small pool. Hosts always available and very responsive, extremely helpful. Excellent security, you feel confident even when isolated in the jungle. Excellent value for the money — I would have stayed another week. Total tranquility, tropical jungle, toucans, animals at night, tropical rain that crackles. And nearby Puerto Viejo, the chill capital in my opinion, perfectly completes the stay.

The place is very private, quiet, peaceful, perfect for disconnecting from everything. The little house and the amenities are exactly as advertised. I liked it a lot and it's super safe for pets, since the entire property is completely fenced in.

Our stay at this location was phenomenal. I recommend renting an ATV for movement around this part of Puerto Viejo. The space was very clean, secluded, and peaceful.
