My family of 13 stayed at Casa Rocamar and we LOVED IT! I would recommend for any group that is looking for private place, while not being too far from the city and want options in terms of activities. The villa itself is HUGE and beautiful ! we spent our days at the beach or by the pool. There is a small beach that is walkable from the villa, but you can't really swim because of the rocks. It was great to take sunset pictures! Our favorite was Avellana (6 min drive, 35 min walk) because the waves were perfect for surfing and swimming , but also because you can use the amenities of the beach club for 5$. I would recommend renting a car to be able to go get groceries outside of Hacienda. The closest store was 5 min once you got out of Hacienda, but that took 15 min. The team was super responsive and proactive once we were there. I will say that before arriving, they were very busy so it sometimes took longer to respond but they always did. Overall loved our stay and we 100% recommend

Beautiful home! AC and everything worked great. The spaces are large, perfect for our large group. The backyard has a path that is a short distance from a tide pool beach. We loved using the beach club too. Super responsive host as well- highly recommend!!

Excellent choice. Friendly host, beautiful home. Serene and peaceful. The roads are rough but it’s worth it. Please update the description of the rooms. The room without a toilet is one of the king/queen room, not the bunkbed room, which has toilet.

Traveled with a family of 10 - grandparents all the way to grandkids. Excellent house, beautiful grounds, fantastic place, beautiful beach nearby (Playa Avellana) and picturesque rocky beach in walkable distance. House itself was just amazing! Lots of room for all the family to spread out, use and relax. Wonderful little critters might come to visit as well ;) Paulina was great at responding to minor issues that came up time to time. And even managed to deliver a much needed blender within an hr after realizing the original one was broken (and even had ice delivered to us in the meantime!) Excellent and prompt service! Our family’s first Airbnb and it was great!

The house is absolutely gorgeous! It exceeded my expectations and my family fit perfectly in the space. Each room had a bathroom which was key with a party of 12 adults. We made good use of the pool and lounge area and even spent a few days grilling. The area itself is very private and while there were some amenities in the surrounding resort we did not use them. My cons were how far we were from everything. there are lots of small shops and Sodas in the local parts of town. We enjoyed exploring but the only area for nicer restaurants and nightlife is Central Tamarindo which was about a 30 mins from the house. 15 mins just to get out of the hacienda pinilla resort and another 10 to 15 mins into town depending on where you want to go. Centro itself is beautiful especially at night but the surrounding streets were very underdeveloped. Beaches were nice and water was warm for swimming. waves can be rough and few amenities. all in all i loved our stay and would recommend.

Casa Rocamar was everything we expected it to be and more! The house has an amazing layout and is a great space for hanging out as friends, family, etc. It was clean and had everything we needed (towels, laundry, fully stocked kitchen, etc.). Also, Paulina and the team were super helpful with recommendations, reservations and making sure we had a great trip. It wouldn’t have been the same without their helpful planning. Highly recommend a stay at Casa Rocamar!
