Great place! Ali was perfect, kind and present for us in our requests. The place is beautiful, clean and close to the beach. The pool on it was perfect for us. I recommend it!

Great location! The shared roof top had a pool and hammock that were awesome. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Make sure you plug in the fridge when you arrive and BYO coffee filters!

I never spoke with or got any information from anyone at Vacasa. The owner of the hardware store who also owns the hotel was actually the one who helped me with everything. I never received any check in details or communications from Vacasa at all. Not sure whether I should be reviewing Vacasa, or Ali… I guess I will review the place and Ali in that case. The place was nice and spacious, had decent enough WiFi to hold calls and use it streaming movies. The rooftop deck was an absolute dream! It has 360 views of the sea and the lagoon side. The pool was a nice addition after being beat up by the sun all day. The bed was also pretty comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was some of the best we’ve had in a while. Ali was super nice. Helped me find a golf cart last minute during Easter weekend where prices were either outrageous, or carts were just unavailable. He also had someone drop us off at the water taxi after our stay as well. We thought we left something there after checkout and he had someone search for us. We ended up finding our memory card after all, but he assured me that if it were there they would do everything they can to find it. Thanks again Ali!

Ana (Property mgr) was sweet as she made everything right to make our stay pleasant. Original reservation was for 3 people & unit supposedly had a queen + twin bed. Checked in and there was no twin bed. Inquired with property owner (Ali) and they brought up an old cot with essentially worn + ripped padding on metal stand with no sheets. I slept on the couch for two nights + unit had no hot water; which they insisted nothing was wrong, but later admitted they need to fix the water heater. After much discussion & escalation, we finally got moved to another unit with two beds on our third day of stay. Per Ana, laundry was complimentary, but when I went to drop off for servicing, Ali (owner) said it would cost $17.50 usd per load. I had ~4lbs of clothing which could be done way cheaper in the US. Told Ana there seems to be a lot of disconnected information and she apologized profusely + offered to pay and/or reimburse for my laundry service. I don’t mind supporting the locals, but price gouging is just not ok. Don’t recommend staying here due to owner’s questionable character. Support other Belizean and stay elsewhere as there are much better accommodations around town.

Will not be disappointed! This is a great location with amazing views. Beach and pool right outside the door. Walkable restaurant near by. Easy to rent golf cart if you’d like to go into town. Very clean and cozy stay. So peaceful I could stay here all day and be happy!
