Kalumina is an ideal retreat located just across the lane from the beach in Playa Grande. This four-bedroom home is set on a spacious lot with a pool at the front and a nature reserve behind. You will likely encounter local wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas, and various fauna in both the front and back yards or while returning from the secluded beach at sunset.

Situated between the estuary and the beach, the property is just a block away from the beach entrance. Although the beach is directly across the street, due to surrounding developments, access requires a short 100-meter walk.

Nearby, Central America’s largest mangrove estuary offers a water taxi service to Tamarindo, located about 300 yards away.

Guest Access

Guests have access to private, secure parking for 3 to 4 vehicles. The home is located within Palm Beach Estates, a small gated community nestled between the estuary and the ocean.

The neighborhood is safe and pleasant for walking. Tamarindo can be reached within 20 minutes by walking or by taking the boat taxi, which operates during limited hours.

While a rental car is recommended for exploring the area independently, a full concierge service is available to arrange taxis or shuttles if preferred.
