The Space
This beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is situated within the luxurious gated community of Pacifico. It offers the comfort of home combined with the atmosphere of a five-star resort.
Located on the second floor of a three-story building, the unit features an oversized terrace that receives morning sun and afternoon shade, overlooking a stunning pool. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with separate his and hers vanities. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, with the second full bathroom conveniently located just outside its door, making the layout ideal for two couples or small families.
The living room is furnished with two comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a large dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with full-sized appliances, granite countertops, and all necessary utensils. Additionally, the unit has its own washer and dryer. Wi-Fi internet and cable TV are provided for your convenience.
For guests traveling with young children, the condo comes fully equipped with essentials such as a portable crib, high chair, safety railing, umbrella stroller, potty seat, children’s plates and cutlery, and toys.
Location
The condo is located in the heart of Playas del Coco, a vibrant beach town just 30 minutes from Liberia Airport. It offers easy access to Costa Rica’s top attractions, including famous volcanoes, waterfalls, and hot springs, making it an excellent base for exploration.

Important Information
Special Places of Costa Rica requires all guests to complete an independent verification process through our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will receive instructions via email, text, or app notification.
As part of this process, guests must select either:
- A refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee), or
- A non-refundable damage waiver that covers accidental damage during the stay
We recommend the damage waiver for peace of mind and to avoid holding funds. Both the verification and your choice between the deposit or damage waiver must be completed before arrival. Failure to do so may result in denied access and forfeiture of the rental without refund.

Construction Notice and Discount
Please note that Pacifico is currently expanding with new ocean-view condos under construction. Work will proceed for 10 consecutive days followed by 3 days of rest, continuing until the first two buildings are completed in February 2025.
While every effort will be made to minimize disturbances, guests should be aware of possible noise or disruption. To compensate, Special Places is offering a 10% discount on all Pacifico properties during this period. This discount is already included in the listed price for this unit.

I enjoyed the ease of checking in, quick and helpful responses prior to check in. I was not able to get in an earlier check-in as I requested- I understand that early requests can't always be granted, but what was frustrating was not knowing if I will/will not get an early check-in only 24 hours in advance, despite asking several weeks ahead, and days ahead- I was told to just be watchful waiting. There is plenty of parking on site. I enjoyed the Pacifico Beach club- which also has free parking across the street, I did not use their shuttle. What was disappointing though was to find out two days in advance that one of the full days I would be there the Pacifico Beach club was not available due to a private event. The shower is extremely cold- so much so my kinds were screaming and crying. The sinks have hot water, but the showers do not. I sent Joanna a message. For this reason I would not stay here again, as I do not enjoy cold cold showers. My kids enjoyed the beach toys !

Joanna’s place was great, the Pacifico community is beautiful and peaceful, great place to stay with family or friends, you can say that the community it is at the heart of el Coco beach but the apartment is located far from the main road, walkable distance to everything you need, but still far from any noise, there is one restaurant on the floor below Joanna’s apartment so if you want to have a traditional Costa Rican Breakfast (Gallo Pinto) you don’t need to go very far! The apartment was great, very clean, very spacious, very secure, the amenities provided were also great, the place is just as described.

The unit was nice and location were nice enough. The pool out back was great and there’s a nice grocery store within walking distance. There are a bunch of restaurants and bars right down the street and the beach is close by. There were some minor miscommunications about check in details but they responded to our questions quickly and thoroughly.

Great location in a safe and welcoming area. The condo was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were good for a comfortable stay. It’s also conveniently close to stores, restaurants, and everything you need, which made getting around very easy. Special Places Property Management and Joanne were quick to respond and very helpful whenever we had a question. The ocean is just a short distance away, about a 10 min walk, making it easy to enjoy the beach, sunsets, and everything the area has to offer. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

We had an amazing time at Joanna’s place in coco beach. We were traveling with our 18 month old toddler and it was the perfect location for her and us. We played in the pool every day and there are tons of shallow areas that are very child friendly. We enjoyed walking into town in the evenings for dinner and ice cream. The beach is also walkable and a nice spot to relax and watch the sunset and play in the sand. Joanna’s place was absolutely spotless. We felt very comfortable here. Muchas gracias.
