Casa Luna de Plata

Me and my group needed a break from NYC and this was the perfect getaway - when we got there, their private chef, Mario, was already in the kitchen cooking up one of the best meals we had in all our time at Costa Rica - I highly suggest his services - he's a 5-star chef and was very patient with me practicing my spanish! The wild life cannot be missed and you really feel like you are in an unspoiled part of the world. we had Toucans, monkeys, macaws - really really a great experience.

This property is a dream. Beautiful surroundings, private, quiet other than the peaceful sounds of nature. They are fantastic hosts and the concierge, Gary was always available, helpful, and made our trip from start to finish amazing!

Beautiful property, excellent concierge services provided by Gary highly recommend! Gary arranged all excursions as well as a private chef, communication was excellent, the only issue we had was power outage due to weather, which was addressed promptly. Gorgeous property and excellent for multiple couples each room was a private suite!

The place was perfect. Exactly as described. Communication was terrific.

If I could give this property 10 stars I would! The infinity pool with beach and Mountain View’s was out of this world gorgeous! The master bathroom soaker tub surrounded by windows with tropical plants is what relaxing vacation dreams are made of. The concierge was EXTREMELY helpful in suggesting restaurants and booking us reservations and taxis (you need a 4X4 to get up to the property, which is up some VERY steep switchbacks…I personally enjoyed walking up and down them while birding and looking for monkeys!). Chef Mario cooked us a delicious meal in the house upon our arrival. All of the patios had incredible views. We saw red backed squirrel monkeys, scarlet macaws, two types of toucans, and capuchin monkeys from the pool deck. One thing to note is that 3 bedrooms are in a separate part of the house accessed through an external door from the kitchen/master/living room. We felt very safe and the property manager was quick to respond to questions!

We were very pleased with the Casa Luna property. The views were amazing. Sunsets were incredible. Wildlife visits were a highlight , too. We were visited by Macaws, a troop of white face monkeys, and several iguanas, along with several fascinating insects/bugs. OSA management,Maria, was a great concierge. She helped with questions we had about the place, and was also very helpful with setting up some excursions for us as well as proving a few of us with transportation back to the airport.

The dwelling itself seemed a little dated but worked well for our group of 7. We liked the privacy. Even though the kitchen was marvelously big, the pots and pans definitely need replacing. Bedside lights didn’t work in several rooms as there were not the correct replacement bulbs for them. The pool was cloudy when we first arrived, but that was addressed and taken care of during our visit. The driveway was extremely steep and we needed 4x4s These are minor issues and overall our visit was great

The absolute most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed at. Beat our expectations. The property felt safe and was located in a breathtaking area. Gorgeous views of the jungle, ocean, mountains, and sunset. The pool was exactly as the photo depicts. The greetings we had by a mama and baby sloth, white faced monkeys, macaws, iguanas, and other lovely birds were exciting. I feel like we saw more animals at the property than at Manuel Antonio National Park. The rooms were all very large and cozy with a private bathroom attached. I would easily stay at this house every time I travel to Costa Rica. Perfecto!!

This place is a dream. We knew we were booking a fabulous property but we didnt realize how incredible it was going to be to experience. Sitting in the pool as the Macaws fly below and then stop for a sunset snap shot in the tree next to you. Or the monkeys that run across the railing early in the morning. This property is peaceful filled with sunshine and natural light. The bedrooms and bathrooms were stunning, the kitchen has everything you would need, the management group - top notch, we knew they were available if we ever needed them. Our family is grateful to have had a week of bliss, together, breathing it all in! Thank you for sharing such a unique and amazing place with us.

On our first trip to Costa Rica, we were very lucky to be looked after by Osa Property. Not only were we in an absolutely unique, wonderful house where we were greeted in the morning by parrots, toucans, monkeys or lizards. Our wonderful concierge Gary was always available for us and organized both tour and restaurant bookings for us as well as the recommendation for probably the best private chef Manuele Fratini. The house itself can hardly be described with words, so artfully lovingly decorated that we immediately felt at home. Perfect for families like us who like to be together, but also like to have a private retreat for everyone. We would like to thank everyone again. We had a perfect time.

We stayed for my brother’s 40th birthday and it was an amazing experience! Gorgeous views and lots of animals paid us a visit! You definitely need a 4x4 to get to the house. We had Manuele Fratini (private chef) come in 2 nights and it was super fun and great food!

The only negative I have on this place is that the ceiling started leaking in the main bedroom and it didn’t get fixed and my brother and his wife had to move rooms. We notified the property company and they responded quickly, but it didn’t get fixed during our stay. They were super unapologetic…we understood, things happen…but it didn’t mess up our trip!

My family of 5 (adults and 3 kids) stayed at this beautiful home for 10 days and it truly was amazing! I don’t know that you will find better views. From many rooms and balconies- the views are stunning. We seen a lot of wildlife during our stay- a sloth that was there most days, monkeys, and all kinds of birds. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a chef come a few nights and also cooked ourselves and had everything we needed. The pool! Wow, definitely one of the favorite things about the home. We used it daily and it overlooks the ocean and mountains. There were many restaurants and excursions close and easy to get to near by which was a plus. But lastly, the concierge team is awesome!!! They were so helpful before our stay by helping me book flights, a driver, excursions, etc. any and everything you need and also during our trip. I was very thankful for them, they made vacation easier. Definitely recommend this home- you will not want to leave.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Management was fantastic and the house was incredible and had tons of amenities. Lots of wildlife that was closer to you at the home than on the tours!

Rent this house!!! Our stay was absolutely unbelievable and worth every single penny. Not only is the house itself and every room stunning, but the views are the best I’ve ever seen at a rental (and I’ve stayed in quite a few). Pictures do not do it justice because there is no way to capture the beauty in a single picture. Almost 360 views of both the jungle and the ocean.

On top of that, there was amazing wildlife surrounding the house. During our stay, we interacted daily with a sloth (named David Lee sloth, but we found out that it is actually a female, so our group renamed her Treeyoncé), macaws, iguanas, and squirrel monkeys. The macaws and squirrel monkeys even let us feed them!

While we were there, OSA helped us set up various tours and gave us recommendations. They also had a representative there when we arrived so that they could give us a tour and show us how to operate some of the features in the home. They were always quick to respond to any of our needs or questions.

This home is beautiful. Located at the top of a mountain, the drive is steep (must have a 4x4!!) but doable (even in the night/rain).

Breathtaking rain forest views!! Like nothing I’ve ever seen. The pool is amazing. Kitchen is amazing. Every bedroom in the home is a beautiful master bedroom with nice bathrooms and beautiful view. Note - rooms are very separated in the home, accessible by separate staircase. Great for a group of adults wanting some gathering and some privacy.

We had wildlife visit right at our windows… 2 kinds of Monkeys, Macaws, a Toucan and of course the Sloth liked to hang in the tree above the pool.

Lots to do in the area. Quick 5 min drive to Manuel Antonio or to Quepos where you can find anything you need. Had the most amazing dinner at Mangata! Went on a fabulous 10 in 1 rainforest tour with Amigos Del Rio, they picked us up right from the home!

Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We had a small private wedding during our stay and we all had the time of our lives. The concierge service was excellent.

We have rented a lot of vacation homes in many countries and this home, and its location is an experience within itself one of the best homes I have ever rented. If i could give six or seven stars I would, simply an experience my entire family will not forget. Would love to return to Costa Rica and stay in this home again.

Eight of us stayed at Casa de Luna 3/22/25 for five days. We were ALL happy with the home we stayed in, its surroundings, so quiet. It seems the only sounds heard were from the wildlife. Lots of wildlife that we wouldn’t typically see in our home state of Florida. The house is stunning! I had Literal Tears come to my eyes when I walked in. We suggest hiring Chef Manuel that the mgmt company recommends. Oh my gosh, this young man has the whole world to conquer. He’s starting with Costa Rica. First time any of us hired a personal chef. Do it! You don’t hear airplanes, or cars at this home. We do recommend the affordable private air charter from San Jose to Quepos. Along with asking the mgmt company to set up transportation for you, anywhere. All of us decided we would definitely return to Costa Rica and use OSA prop mgmt. The people are happy, the country is nothing just gorgeous, and we have so much more to see in CR. I’m telling ya, Book this place. We had an amazing time!

The pictures were exactly what you walked into. There are two bedrooms downstairs that have to be accessed by leaving the front door, but you are able to lock them behind you. This didn’t cause any issues with our family. We literally felt like we were walking down stairs of a castle when we went downstairs. Those same stairs is how you access the top bedroom. The surroundings weee beautiful. We saw so much wildlife. Sunrise and sunset weee also beautiful. You are about 10 minutes from MA park entrance.

Wow! What a gorgeous home in a fabulous setting! Four of us stayed here for 3 nights / wish we could have stayed longer as we all agreed it was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The team is very responsive to any questions/concerns.

We were visited by macaws, toucans, a sloth and a team of capuchin monkeys all right at the house - what a treat!

We also took advantage of massages at the house that were fantastic

Staying at Casa Luna De Plata was an absolutely amazing experience! The house itself was wonderful, and the scenery was breathtaking. The sunsets were nothing short of magical, and we truly fell in love with the property.

The Oca property concierge went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from transportation to arranging a private chef. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. Each room in the home had its own unique personality, and we loved listening to the sounds of the jungle just outside our windows.

The pool offered stunning views, stretching from the lush landscape all the way to the ocean—simply mesmerizing. This was truly a one-of-a-kind stay, and we highly recommend it!

Our stay was magical!! We stayed here with my family and the place was everything we could’ve dreamed and more. We will definitely will try to come back next time we are visiting Manuel Antonio.

The views from the house are stunning and you can to see wildlife everywhere. There was a family of 5 scarlet Macaws that you could see each morning from the balconies. It was just stunning!

This place is magical, the wildlife was better than MA park.

A sloth literally hangs out in the tree above the pool- we were lucky enough to see 3 sloths including a baby hanging on Mama. Along with Macaws, 2 types of monkeys, toucans & many other bird’s & lizards. We used Gary & Luis from “The Private Chef” ( booked through OSA) for an amazing dinner at the house one of our best meals during our stay. OSA Properties was very attentive to all of our needs before our stay & during, when we had a question they contacted to us in minutes.

The house is stocked with basics seasonings including zip locks!! Every pot & pan u need

Yes road needs a 4x4 but after you find the place it is easy to drive.

I must admit I was a bit bummed when I found that all the bedrooms are suits on separate levels- have to go out the front door to get to a separate stairwell m. my 82 yr young mom made the stairs with ease. The pool & sauna are not heated so we weren’t able to use it as much.

This place was even better than the photos and worth every penny to us. We enjoyed our stay at this location and did not want to leave. It was the perfect place to stay and celebrate our friend's 30th birthday. We were greated upon arrival and given a property tour by management, and had no issues during our stay. As long as you have a 4x4 vehicle, you will not regret staying here!

We travel a lot and this will go down as my favorite AirBNB thus far. The location is stunning, the home is incredibly beautiful, and the hosts are so accommodating and helpful. I will dream of staying at this house again. ✨✨✨
