Everything was wonderful at this house, the pool was amazing and the location from town was only a ten minute walk. We arrived after dark so we had a little problem with the the lock because I was trying to use the lock on the gate itself (which was an old one ) when the lock that worked was on the post of the gate. Also our excursion driver ( one hour late) and our shuttle driver (thirty minutes late) couldn't find our Airbnb. There are no street signs in Tamarindo, they go by the property name. But everything else was wonderful.

Fede was great! Responsive, helpful and kind. The house is beautiful, clean, and well kept. If I go back to Tamarindo I will check for availability at La Casa Verde first!

Fede’s house was truly the highlight of our entire trip. The home is absolutely beautiful—modern, spotless, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt so well cared for, which made it easy to relax and feel at home right away. I will without hesitation recommend this place to friends and family. The pool was the cherry on top and created the perfect balance between beach days and lounging at home—it honestly elevated the whole experience. And hire the chef—its a must! Gustavo is phenomenal. Every single dish he prepared was delicious, beautifully made, and full of flavor. On the days he wasn’t scheduled, my friends and I literally found ourselves dreaming about his food. To be completely honest, his meals were better, fresher, and more memorable than any restaurant we tried in town. Farm-to-table, authentic Costa Rican cuisine, prepared with so much care and skill—Gustavo is worth every penny and then some. This stay exceeded all expectations. Unforgettable!

Fede was an amazing host! He was super responsive to any questions I had regarding local businesses and the temperature in the bedrooms. Truly helped make our experience to Costa Rica more seamless. Overall a great experience and a beautiful home that exceeded our expectations!

Case Verde was perfect for us. We were a group of two couples. The pool is very nice and a good size for 4 people. The house was spacious and was very relaxing. There is about a 10 minute walk to the downtown. The neighbouring properties looked like mostly other rental properties. We had fish tacos at Little Luchas on Tuesday. I would absolutely recommend them!

Great place to stay. Very accurate website description. Shared pool space with casita. Insects were a but much at times but this is a tropical region. Host was very communicative about my concerns :)

The house is in a great location and looks nice at first glance, but I wish I knew what we were walking into. From arrival, there was a visible line of ants, a centipede by the toilet, spiderwebs (with live/dead spiders), bugs crawling through our luggage. We saw more centipedes and insects daily, especially in the kitchen and living room. I expected some bugs, it’s a tropical area but this was excessive. I got bitten inside the house. When I reported it, the host only acknowledged the issue and said they’d need extermination in the future. He later offered late checkout and waived a $20 decoration fee in exchange for a good review. When I contacted Airbnb for a partial refund due to how uncomfortable the stay was, he deleted that message and claimed no refund was due since I used late checkout and “understood” some bugs are normal. This is my honest experience, I hope it helps others and that this gets addressed.

The stay, although short, was wonderful, everything was exactly as described and as shown in the photos! A super safe, comfortable, super clean place.
