Martha's house is perfect by the lagoon! The exterior is exceptional with several shaded areas to relax and a private pontoon. Paddleboards and kayaks are available for trips on the lagoon. Very close to the village (10-min drive). Matha was very responsive to our requests. I recommend this house!!

Martha was very responsive and efficient in communicating with us from the beginning of the stay and even afterward. She was particularly attentive to a comment we made about skin reactions to the lagoon water upon our arrival! She offered us all their support. Moreover, everything was resolved, and the water was superb from the day after our arrival. The house was austere and a bit tight for 10 people, but very pleasant because it is spacious and has direct access to the lagoon with kayaks and paddleboards available. It is very well located in relation to the nightlife—not too close to avoid the noise but not too far from the entertainment. I would recommend this house without hesitation! Also worth mentioning are the very complete kitchen equipment and the products available! Thank you for everything, Martha!

If you want beautiful rustic Mexican charm in a perfect setting with private access to a fresh water lake then this is for you. I see some criticisms are that it’s not modern enough.. but that’s not why you’d book casa Arbol. It was exactly what we wanted, the facilities were beyond other Airbnb’s we’ve experienced, we felt privileged to be able to enjoy someone’s holiday home as we feel they would enjoy it too.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa del Arbol. The home was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group. We especially loved spending time on the dock, which became our favorite place to relax and enjoy the views. The backyard was another great gathering spot. The air conditioning in each bedroom made a big difference, especially during warmer nights. The host was also incredibly helpful throughout our stay, providing excellent local recommendations and even arranging a fantastic boat trip for our family. We highly recommend the casa and would happily stay here again.

This is an absolute beautiful location. The lake front area is perfect we could walk to a near sandbar and the property has everything we needed. Will be our go to for now on every time we come .. been to Bacalar many times and this is by far our favorite. Host was super helpful and responsive. We loved casa del árbol I want to live here

It is a very nice house with an excellent location, ideal for going with the family. It has many amenities and very comfortable rooms. The pier and the way it's arranged make it ideal for not wanting to go anywhere anymore. It doesn't have good cell phone reception, so it helps you disconnect a bit. Overall, everything was very nice My family and I will definitely come back

Fabulous location, gorgeous home with everything you could need for a wonderful family stay!

We had a wonderful family stay. We had two children with us and the property was great for them with a level back yard, kayaks, paddle boards and the lagoon right there. The bedrooms were spacious and the layout worked well for our family of 7. We made most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was well equipped. Martha made us feel very welcome and was very attentive. Thanks Martha!

We had a great time exploring Bacalar from Martha’s home. It was perfect for our multigenerational trip and offered activities for everyone from 2-75.
