We loved the house and the neighborhood/ the kitchen is amazing and the pool area is an oasis. There seems to be some deferred maintenance issues with the house…. It is a luxury home! However we rented a five bedroom house but only four bedrooms were usable for sleeping due to faulty air conditioning that could not be repaired during our stay. (They tried). The owner apologized and said he knew I was due a partial refund and we discussed an amount that I felt was very reasonable. We were very disappointed to have to crowd five people into one bedroom for sleeping…. Leaving another beautiful room empty at night as it was too hot to sleep in. But then owner/manager (Fernando) went completely radio-silent … we got home we haven’t had any more success getting resolution. Airbnb support is also trying to reach them so not sure if there is a family emergency or if they have decided to ghost us now that we are home. A lovely stay was clouded by this issue so I needed to include this.

Such an incredible property! The photos do not do the house justice - the stone, the wood, the lighting was incredible. It was incredibly clean and so peaceful. The backyard was gorgeous. Felt very safe and not too far from town by taxi. Fernando was super communicative and so helpful once we arrived, helped arrange a private chef dinner and always responded back promptly with any questions I had. Really appreciated how friendly and accommodating he was to our group. HIGHLY recommend this Airbnb!!

Our host in Play del Carmen was Fernando and he is very friendly with great recommendations. The house is spotless and the beautiful pool and garden are maintained daily. Great for a family gathering.

The house is very nice. Spacious, nice pool and backyard area, comfortable bedrooms with en suite baths. Nice kitchen. Lots of spots to hang out. The area is very nice, and easy to get around on foot or with bikes. Very safe. We had a nice time there!

Diego and Fernando were incredibly helpful before and during our stay. One particular highlight is that they helped me arrange additional services for my large group including transfers from the airport, a private chef dinner and stocking the house with supplies prior to our arrival. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. One of the highlights was a daily cleaning service. I strongly recommend this property and the wonderful hosts.

Wow - This is an Airbnb of your dreams! The house is gorgeous and thoughtfully created. Every detail was immaculate, from the rooms, to the full kitchen to the stunning pool area. Also, the communication was brilliant - Stephane was always a call away and provided great suggestions for local eats and things to do. Can't wait to be back :)

We had an absolutely incredible time at Diego’s villa! The villa was large, beautiful and perfectly appointed! We went with another family. So all together four adults and four kids and had more than enough space for both families. We were beyond spoiled by the incredible staff and team. Stefan, our concierge was unbelievable and made sure our every wish was granted and went above and beyond at every turn. Our housekeeper MariaCarmen was the hardest worker we have ever seen. Kept the villa sparkling during our stay. We had the most incredible chef - Abraham come and cook insane meals for us every evening and he was accompanied by Gabriel - our bartender. We fell in love with the food, drinks and service and by the end all became family. Finally the team arranged for us to have two Nannie’s - Andrea and Michele both were amazing, our kids loved them and they helped make our vacation even more incredible entertaining the kids while the adults enjoyed the amazing food and drinks. We also rented a golf cart (arranged by Stephan) which was amazing to get around the cute playacar area. We can’t wait to go back and cannot thank the villa team enough for making our stay unforgettable.
