Our stay was very pleasant. The apartment is spacious, safe, has good amenities and the location is excellent, two blocks from 5th Avenue, one from the beach and meters from 38th Street, with several options for bars and restaurants. The pool has a spectacular view, very nice and clean. The Host Álvaro is always willing to answer our questions and solve problems immediately, as well as receptive to suggestions. Just to point out that the 20 kw per day provided is not enough, especially for a large group like ours (7 people) and we only used the air conditioners in the rooms at night and we were practically not in the apartment during the day. In addition, the charge for the exceeded kw is $7 and the established rate in Playa del Carmen is about $3.80, which we suggest you take into account for the future.

Lots of positive points but lots of negative points. Positive points: the location, the size of the condo and terrace, the rooftop, drinking water provided. Negative points: we had a lot of problems in the first days: the refrigerator and freezers stopped working; no batteries in a TV remote; low-end pillows that were much too small and uncomfortable. No hot water. Dirty dishes. Sofa bed full of junk in the cracks, no sheets for the latter. Patio doors do not close properly and lose efficiency. Faulty living room fan. The condo is said to be luxurious but with very basic amenities. No shampoo/soap in the showers. The host responded well 90% of the time. The kw provided is not sufficient: the condo is for 7 people but the host gives the average consumption of a Mexican per day: expect to pay more. We've always used AC only at night.
