4BR Villa in Manuel Antonio

We had such a wonderful stay at Alta Vista Villas. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Such a comfortable stay at such a beautiful Villa. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance which made it convenient. Really enjoyed the pool and the wildlife. Can’t wait to come again soon.

As all of the reviews have said, this place is truly amazing. The views and surroundings were breathtaking and tons of animals to see. Very convenient location for all of our excursions too. Can’t wait to go back again someday.

This place was a magical treat in paradise! Wilbert was the BEST host and would show us all the animals on the property and give us restaurant recommendations. Property is next to everything- pharmacy, urgent care, lots of restaurants (go to Santa Plancha- owner is amazing and such good food). The view was amazing!! There are lots of stairs to get to this place though and my 60/70 year old parents were able to do it, but it was a challenge and took time. That is literally the only issue. Other villas on the property don’t have as many though, so you could stay at other ones if that’s a problem or concern. Otherwise I would 100% recommend and want to come back soon :-)

Wow. So happy we stayed here. There was my wife, 16 and 17 year old kids and I. The villa was huge and the perfect base for exploring Manuel Antonio and the surrounding areas. The pool area is great, the breakfast was ace, the daily cleaning perfect. Chris, Wilbert and the rest of the staff were all fantastic. Wilbert is an expert wildlife spotter and Chris sorted all our tours. We saw so much wildlife in and around the villa, its amazing. From the daily visit from the Spider, Squirrel and white faced monkeys, the resident lizards (Bill and Badger!) around the pool, the mother and baby sloths, and loads of different types of birds, it was all fantastic. Loads of places to eat and drink within walking distance and so many tours and things to do depending on how active you want to be. Loved our time here.

Large family stay at this gem of a find. Just as beautiful as the photos. All the staff, including Wilbert and Chris, were absolutely incredible. Streamlined check in/ out. Very helpful and had the most amazing meal during our stay with them. The view and natural surroundings were fantastic. Daily monkey and sloth sightings made it truly special. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

AltaVista Villas absolutely exceeded our expectations! The concierges were great, especially Wilbur & Chris! They were helpful planning excursions, transportation and giving recommendations! We saw so much wildlife here! From monkeys to toucans and macaws, we were so excited to experience that from the comfort of the back porch with the MOST incredible view! We booked massages through the villa that were provided in the comfort of the air bnb and were a 10/10! Would 100% return and hope to soon.

Everything was perfect and just as we hoped for! The only thing I would mention is if you get the lower house, get ready for a small leg workout as there are about 50 stairs down, and back up. So if you’re not mobile or need assistance walking be sure to book the upper levels. Other than that it was absolutely wonderful! We saw Macaws, 3 types of monkeys, lizards, sloths and more all around the home. The view from the pool is amazing too! Loved it!

The included breakfast and laundry done for you made this a true vacation for a mom. It’s changed the way I will plan trips now going forward haha - and the amount of wildlife you view is extraordinary! So fun for kiddos with a pool (their favorite part, above the beach even). And did I mention breakfast just comes to you?? Es increible!

This property exceeded every expectation. The views are breathtaking, and the hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive throughout our stay. What truly sets it apart is the wildlife right outside your door — daily sightings of monkeys, sloths, toucans, and scarlet macaws made it feel like a private nature sanctuary. If you’re dreaming of the quintessential Costa Rica experience, this is it.

Can’t recommend this place enough! If you are on the fence just book it. Beautiful views and tons of animal sightings. Probably saw as many animals here as at the park. In fact there were two separate troops of monkeys who passed through around 5pm every day. The house and pool were immaculate and the concierge was extremely helpful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever come back to Manuel Antonio!!
