Loved it and would stay again! The condo itself was beautiful — relaxing, elegant furnishings, super spacious rooms and bah, and the comfiest beds we’ve slept in. Kitchen was a dream for cooking: fully stocked with oil, salt, pepper, coffee, all the pots/pans you need, plus an air fryer. We barely wanted to eat out. Bonus points for the board games and books too. The balcony was like a mini resort: gas BBQ, lounge area, hammock, even an outdoor sink. Perfect for evenings. Resort was okay — pool water was murky during our stay and the beach was closed, so we didn’t use those much. Mexican restaurant on site was great for catching World Cup games. Supermarket nearby was well stocked and the zoo was a hit with the kids — animals were active and they loved feeding them. Only 2 small issues: AC wasn’t working perfectly but host fixed it quickly, and there’s no cable TV for sports. Overall we had an amazing stay and can’t recommend this condo enough for families.

We have visited Buenaventura before but we stayed in that hotel. We opted for an Airbnb this time because our two adult kids traveled with us and we wanted a kitchen. This place did not disappoint! It looked better in person than the photos and offered so many thoughtful touches - even bug spray and sunscreen for the beach! Loved all the natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. My only regret is that our stay was so short. Would definitely rent again!
