Gorgeous, unique 6,000 sq. ft colonial villa in the heart of town and the showcase of Granada's colonial house wal...
The Space
This exceptional 6,000 square foot colonial villa, built in the 1750s, stands as one of the finest homes in Granada. It underwent a careful two-year restoration to maintain its original architectural charm while incorporating modern comforts. The villa features a lush central courtyard with a 40-foot long pool, perfect for cooling off during warm afternoons.
Unlike many homes in Granada, electricity costs are included in the rental rate. Please refer to the "Other Details to Note" section for the electrical consumption policy.
Location
Casa Blanca enjoys the prime location at the upper end of the pedestrianized Calle La Calzada. It is situated right next to Granada’s iconic cathedral and just a short walk from the lively central park, making it the best-positioned home in the city.
Accommodations
The villa offers five bedrooms arranged as follows:
- A second-floor master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.
- Two double bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and private bathroom.
- A family suite consisting of two connected rooms: one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. The twin bedroom doubles as a TV room. Note that these two rooms share one air conditioning unit; to cool the twin bedroom, the connecting door must remain open.
- A fifth bedroom located beyond the kitchen on the ground floor, suitable for a live-in nanny or maid. It includes a single bed, private bathroom, and an overhead fan but no air conditioning.
The living spaces are arranged along spacious corridors. The main corridor features an antique rocking chair and a coffee table beneath a powerful ceiling fan. At the opposite end of the pool from the main dining area, there is a more casual seating space. The home also includes two classic colonial living rooms with doors opening directly onto Calle La Calzada.
