La Costa de Papito Hotel is nestled within a lush, 5-acre tropical garden located 1.5 kilometers southeast of Puerto Viejo on Costa Rica's South Caribbean coast. Positioned at the border of jungle and sea, it lies just a short distance from the pristine white sands of Playa Cocles, known for its popular surf break. To the north, you'll find the refreshing freshwater of Rio Cocles.

Our tropical-style bungalows each possess unique character and are furnished with comfortable, handcrafted wooden furniture. Each bungalow includes a patio designed for relaxation amid the vibrant tropical garden. Large windows provide views of heliconias, bromeliads, coconut palms, gingers, and various tropical fruit trees.

The grounds are home to an abundance of wildlife, including butterflies, birds, iguanas, gentle sloths, and monkeys. Free Wi-Fi is available, allowing guests to stay connected if desired.
