Luxury 3BR villa in Santa Teresa with a saltwater infinity pool, jungle views, and wildlife encounters. Enjoy ocean vistas, a hammock above the treetops, and natural serenity.
The Space
This villa features a saltwater infinity pool and offers one of the most captivating views in Santa Teresa. Every room presents mesmerizing sights of the crashing waves below, along with a broad coastal panorama of the Mal Pais reef. Situated on a hillside, most living areas are nestled within the jungle canopy, where you can often spot monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife moving through the surrounding branches or flying nearby.
To deepen your connection with nature, a custom hammock made from high-strength Dyneema webbing is suspended high above the jungle floor. While resting on the hammock, you can sunbathe, observe wildlife, stargaze, or take a peaceful nap, all while floating above the treetops. This unique atmosphere is unmatched by any other property in town.
Pata Salada includes:
- 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
- Each bedroom equipped with a brand-new king mattress
- Hot water showers in every bathroom
- Closets and ocean views of the white water from each room
- Air conditioning and ceiling fans for personalized comfort
Sleeping with the doors open allows the soothing sound of the waves and the ocean breeze to fill the room, creating an ideal environment for deep relaxation.
The villa also offers a fully equipped kitchen and fiber optic Wi-Fi. There is no television, as the natural entertainment comes from the sunsets, clouds, surfers, and wildlife.

What an incredible place! The rooms, the pool, the kitchen- all were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the cast iron pans! The cleaner was very friendly and supportive. The only challenges to be aware of are that this place is up a steep hill! Can be tricky with ATVs if you have less ATV experience. But you can walk down for tasty restaurants at the bottom.

We enjoyed staying at Worthy's place despite it being our hardest BNB experience. It was a great location despite the roads being difficult to drive on. The power went out once due to their own issue, the other being the whole penisula. The water also went out for awhile because it ran out the tank. During all of this, they communicated with us very well. We however, did not like how the cleaning ladies where there every morning and just walked in with no notice. It did not give our family the privacy we are accustomed too. So if you don't mind the cleaners just walking in, and most likely the power going out a lot, not due to their own doing, I would say the place is great.

Walking in to the house the first time was like something out of a movie. The landscaping leading up to the door was beautiful and consistent with the natural state of Costa Rica. The view when you open the door is hard to put into words. The day we arrived there were even monkeys playing in the trees above the pool. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. Note: A four wheel drive vehicle is recommended especially if you come during the rainy season as the road to the house can get washed out. Or you can rent an ATV in town like many people do.

We had a lovely two-week stay at the house. Compared to other stays in Santa Teresa, the house is updated and well-maintained. Despite its jungle location, we did not experience problems with bugs or other wildlife. The view is outstanding, as advertised. We did have to contend with construction work from the house above most days. The pool is lovely, but it is mostly shady, so worth knowing it doesn’t warm as much as a pool that receives sunlight. The home could use more seating options; there is no sofa. On the other hand, it has a very cool net which serves as a hammock of sorts. While our needs were met, the communication from the host and staff was more distanced than what we’ve experienced with other Santa Teresa stays. (We stayed for 2 weeks and never actually met the host/ concierge.) Overall, we’d recommend the house, especially for families with older kids, and especially once nearby construction ends.

Amazing house, modern and well decorated, fully equiped. Perfect to disconnect and relax with a great view and the sound of birds and waves. A cleaning lady and a maintenance man for the pool came everyday. Few points worth mentioning: Although the location is close to the Main Street, we need a 4x4 or ATV to get to the house as the hill is steep and the road is bumpy. There is a construction site nearby that starts pretty early, and there are no blinders in the room, so be ready to wake up early - which is fine as it is Santa Teresa vibe anyway. Last, a mosquito repellent is an absolute must to enjoy the outdoor space that is gorgeous. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Beautiful house that matches the pictures. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. The rooms do not have blackout curtains thus you will be waking up at sunrise if light bothers you. Sunrise happens as early as 5:00AM. There is construction next door that also starts very early and ends late, everyday! We went with two women that did not feel comfortable enjoying the pool because of this, the men were even looking at me while I was in the pool (I did not mind) the host can plant some plants to block their view, easy to do. We ran out of electricity one day for a few hours, another day the internet went down and lastly the water ran out, which took hours to fix. They can provide bathroom toiletries or event salt in the kitchen. We loved the house since it’s modern, the most amazing ocean views with great proximity to ocean. The town is magnificent and great restaurants. They include a daily cleaning service which is great, the house is always clean. Pricy for what one gets.
