The home is modern and recently built. It is located in a great neighborhood with beach access and ocean views. The property manager Juan Carlos is very helpful and responsive. The major issue was a persistent sewer gas odor/sewage smell. The gas concentrates on the second floor. The gas and odor were so bad it made the master bedroom and bunk room unusable. This made what was a 4 bedroom rental into a 2 bedroom rental. The property manager sent a septic truck to pump out the septic and he tried to help but it did little to control the nauseating sewer gas.

A great option to stay in Los Cabos. The house is very clean and with everything you need. The host responds quickly and provides a solution to any situation that may arise.

We were very happy. The house is amazing! We loved having chosen it. The location is perfect and it is very well designed to spend a few days with the family. We hardly went out and we enjoyed it very much. There were only two problems: with the refrigerator filter, and we ran out of drinking water. The worst was that there were lots of cockroaches in the kitchen. Outside, everything is fine 👍🏻

The house was in a beautiful location and the host was very communicative. There was a local property management team that helped with anything that we needed. I would stay here again!

Staying at Casa Hyde has been one of my most memorable experiences to date. The hills in the area were a trek thankfully my young and spritely group could take them on. It’s positioned in the perfect place for almost complete privacy as well as the best views ever. Multiple days we were able to whale watch from the pool. The host was very responsive and helped us at lightning speed. The beach access was an easy walk and the was tucked away and almost completely private. Loved it 10/10 would stay again.

I really wanted to give Casa Hyde five stars. The home is beautiful, the beach is a short walk away, and the pool and outdoor space were great for our three-family trip. The management company coordinated baby gear and groceries, but this is not a 24/7 concierge-style property, which is worth noting when comparing to other homes in the area. The issue was plumbing. Some toilets would not flush upon arrival because the water valves were off. After restoring water, three bathrooms developed a strong sewage odor that worsened after showers. The smell became severe: two bathrooms were unusable after the first night, one bedroom was unusable by the end of the trip, and two others, including the kids’ room, had persistent odor. A plumber came, but the issue was not resolved during our stay (required drilling tiles). I hope this is fully addressed for future guests.
