Our small studio, was sufficient for our needs. View was wonderful with pool and ocean view. Too rough to access water, but nice loungers to watch sunrise. “Very best part was turtles were nesting right there and we were able to witness this at sunrise”😍 Had a table and chairs by back door. The furniture was sparse, just a table and 2 chairs. Bed was very comfortable. Memory foam helped a lot. Pillows were okay! Bedside tables. Had an oscillating fan, which was a must. AC had to work hard to keep area cool. We were still very warm at night. Front door was not sealed well. Place needs some updates! Kitchen was sufficient for one pan meals, had cooking supplies but minimum. 2 burner stove that wouldn’t hold two pans at once. Few ants but had spray. Great coffee pot and mixer. He provided water bottles. I must say it had electronic spout which was tricky on wall. Bathroom adequate, no AC, and window open for ventilation. Overall great for single person or couple. Street was a busy!

I usually never have anything bad to say about bnbs. I am grateful that someone lets me stay in their home but this one was different. The lock on the entrance was hard to open, its molded and it needs change, AC barely worked. And the cherry on top were the cockroaches at night. I texted the host and got no response, had to get Airbnb support involved. It’s really frustrating and uncomfortable because why would you rent your place when you know you have a pest problem. Anyways, sadly one of my bad experiences

The accommodation is very nice. There is a pool in the backyard and a view of the sea. We walked to Punta Norte (about 15-20 min) and to Chedraui (10 min). Highly recommended.

We had reservations for 6 night. We only stayed 2 and had to find a new location for the remaining 4 night. Uninhabitable. Nasty would never recommend that place. Two words. S- hole. Don’t go. Very unhappy. It’s a very nasty place. The apartment needs major work!!!!!!

We were able to witness sea turtles giving birth from a distance, right behind the Airbnb. It was the highlight of our trip!

DO NOT STAY HERE. As a 12-year Airbnb user, I rarely write negative reviews, but this was my worst experience ever. The listing falsely claimed there were two beds; we arrived at midnight to find only one. Even worse, the unit was infested with roaches (including on the bed) throughout and ants. The closet had old, dirty laundry & reeked of must. I immediately messaged the hosts, but only received automated replies for 36 hours. When they finally responded, they were dismissive & denied the issues. They even accused me of booking an AI listing. When I sent pictures as proof of the 2beds listing, they quickly updated their listing to show 1 bed & still refused to refund me. They ignored the insect infestation, claiming it was just the ‘tropical climate.’ I had to involve Airbnb Support to get a partial refund. Do not be misled by the location—the roaches & the host's dishonest business practices make this stay unsafe & unprofessional. They are not super hosts.

The place was perfect for my gf and I for the 3 days we stayed on the island. Daniel was proactive on communicating with me. He also set up transportation from the airport to the ferry and from the ferry to Playa Del Carmen by his brother Mitch was a pleasure to get to know. Definitely will be back in the future.

The good: the view is spectacular. If it's just to see the sea, the place is very good. The bad: you can't go into the ocean at the place. There's a barrier with a lot of sargassum and stones that prevent you from entering. To go into the ocean, you have to take a taxi and travel 2.5 kilometers to find Playa Norte, which has a spectacular ocean. The post mentions things like body soap, and when you ask for them, first they tell you that they don't offer them, and when you send them photos of their post, they apologize and say that they will correct the post. They were slow to respond, but they sent me the soaps. The internet is slow and it drops very often. It lacks maintenance. To open the main door, you have to use your shoulder or open it with force because it is very deteriorated. The interior is very simple, with a closet, construction pipes for the curtains, etc. Downtown is 2.5 kilometers away by taxi, with a restaurant area, bars and spectacular beaches.
