One of the most beautiful places me and my wife have been. It’s incredible what an incredible piece of paradise Christian has created. Such a lovely host with a warm welcome of delicious local products. This is a place you have to visit.

Petit paradis au pied de Cherripo parfait pour explorer la région de San Gerardo. Des randonnées accessibles à pied à partir de la propriété. Christian est très sympa et l’endroit est impeccable. Les jardins sont de toute beauté ! Et la baignade dans la rivière au pied de la maison est magique ! En espérant un jour pouvoir y retourner :)

This place was great. Christian gave us good directions to get to his place. The studio was spotless, and the views of the garden and river were wonderful. We had everything we needed. Afternoon naps on the deck in the provided hammock and bean bag were great! I highly recommend this place if you are staying in the Chirripo area.

Studio très sympa et agréable. Dans un cadre luxuriant avec la rivière qui coule sous la terrasse. Christian est un hôte très prévenant et très accueillant. Très beau spot pour faire de la randonnée et grimper le Cerro Chirripó dont la départ se fait à 500 m de l’appartement. Très chouette emplacement dans un micro village du Costa Rica!

A literal slice of paradise! A beautifully maintained private suite with unmatched proximity to the river and beautiful gardens. Christian was accommodating, friendly, and helpful - overall a great host. I would highly recommend!

Truly, THE place against which other 5-star reviews should be compared. Great location, well provisoned, easy walk to local restaurants, and local hiking and birding locations. If you don’t feel like leaving the property, the gardens are immaculate and phenomenally good for birding (I had 30 species in a short morning birding) or if you just want to chill and drink the excellent coffee Chris provides.

The view from the place is amazing and the river is super refreshing to swim in. The deck is great for meals, lying in a hammock or doing some yoga. Bed was super comfy, kitchen is small but gets the job done and is adequately equipped. Glass wall in the shower is a nice touch. Beautiful nature and mountains all around, short distance to nature reserves and San Isidro isn't that far away. Christian was very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended!
