The Space
This peaceful 4-bedroom pool house is just minutes from the beach. The outdoor area is a highlight, featuring a large swimming pool, shaded dining for eight, and a charcoal BBQ grill.
Inside, the kitchen boasts a beautiful Guanacaste wood island with a 5-burner cooktop and a breakfast bar that seats six, ideal for casual meals and socializing. The living room offers a comfortable couch and loveseat arranged to overlook the lush garden and pool, creating a tranquil environment for relaxation.
Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, each furnished with a new queen-sized bed and ample closet space. These rooms share a bathroom. Upstairs, the primary bedroom includes a king-sized bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Another bedroom on this level has a queen-sized bed and its own en-suite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests.
The upper floor also contains a spacious lounge area with cozy seating and a desk, perfect for remote work or unwinding.

Everything was perfect! The photos are exactly as shown in real life, the location is excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The place was also very clean. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location in the heart of Surfside Potrero! Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, breweries, and grocery. Very secure and comfortable. We would definitely return to Casa Tequila.

Excelente alojamiento. Todo estaba muy limpio, ordenado y tal como se mostraba en las fotos. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue excelente y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Sin duda volveríamos. ¡Muy recomendado!

I hope the owners read this and see we loved the house itself. The house is lovely, close to the beach , in a safe part of town and my family of 5 walked to and from beaches or restaurants in the dark. The beach is very swimmable with lots of waves and my kids loved it. You could easily spend days here and not need a car. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs each with their own air conditioning. It was nice and cool. Very private and the backyard is great… if the pool is working. This is where my review turns negative. The property manager Krain was not very considerate, had to come several times to the house, sometimes telling us and sometimes not and even sending people at 6:30am while our family slept and were startled awake and it felt unsafe. I felt their communication was not clear and they were inconsiderate.

After complications with our originally booked place, we had to pivot to a new place last minute. Krain made a very stressful situation a dream. They were so responsive/accommodating, allowing us to drop off our luggage early as we waited for the place to be prepared. Check-in was seamless and we were blown away by the property and house. It was so much better than the photos demonstrate. Immaculately clean, well-stocked (cookware, blender, coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, beach chairs, etc), and the temperature inside was lovely. The outdoor area was so wonderful for entertaining 4 kids under 6 plus a baby. Lots of shade and space to play, and the pool was perfect for keeping them cool & happy. The beach and many restaurants were a super short walk and there was space to park our car + golf cart. They gave us an extra hour for free to accomodate the timing of our shuttle on check out day. Responsive during our stay with questions. Can't say enough good things!

Potrero was such a lovely location and this was an easy few minute walk to the beach. The pool here was so loved by our 5, 3, and 1 year olds. The house is cute and had what we needed to cook and bbq. Great value!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful two-week vacation at Casa Tequila in Potrero. The property is exactly as shown in the photos: a spacious, modern home built around a peaceful, shaded courtyard with a pool and lovely garden. We spent much of our time relaxing by the pool and sharing family meals at the long outdoor wooden table. The house has four comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms. Fans and air conditioning units in every room made it easy to regulate the temperature. The kitchen and living spaces were well equipped, and beach towels, chairs, and blankets were thoughtfully provided. Casa Tequila is ideally located, just a five-minute walk from Potrero Beach, a well-stocked grocery store, and several restaurants. The property and pool were well maintained, and Krain Vacation Rentals were extremely responsive. When minor issues arose, help was sent promptly.

Familia Feliz Desde que rentamos siempre recibí msj amigable, respetuoso, al llegar nos encantó la distribución de la casa mi madre adulta mayor feliz porque su cuarto estaba en planta baja. Nos resolvieron de forma eficaz y rápida un pequeño problema con el agua del fregadero. Somos una familia agradecida con el Alquiler de casa Tequila.
