​We had a great stay at Villa Bromelia. Located in the Arenal Heights community just above Los Lagos Spa & Resort, you enter through the resort gates even though it is a separate property. ​The villa itself was clean, secluded, and comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfy, the bedroom A/C worked perfectly, and the kitchen is well-equipped for quick meals (note: there is no oven). The absolute highlights were the private hot tub and the breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano—you are literally right on it. A massive perk was the day passes for the hot springs. ​Our host, Santiago, was exceptional and gave great local recommendations. When we had a minor hot water issue on our first night, he was immediately responsive, provided easy steps to fix it and the problem was resolved instantly. Thank you, Santiago, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this villa.

One of the nicest places we have stayed at on Airbnb! Santiago was so kind and welcoming to us as we made our way to La Fortuna from San Jose. The house is very modern and has all of the amenities one could want from a washer and dryer to a hot tub with a view of the volcano. The bathroom was probably the nicest I have seen as well, very unique. You will have serenity if you book this place and Santiago is nearby if you need anything. Highly recommended!

A beautiful villa with spectacular views! We were provided with wrist bands to access all the resorts hot springs. Santiago is an excellent host!

Had an amazing stay. The host was timely with responses and provided everything we needed. Would highly recommend. Amazing experience!

The view is incredible! We knew the view of Arenal would be amazing from the pictures but were blown away when we got there! At times the volcano was hidden by the fog but we got to see it a few times and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. There is another Airbnb in view to the right when looking at the volcano but it still felt private. You are within the gated Los Lagos resort but far up the hill away from the resort rooms but still have access to the hot springs and restaurant. We ordered dinner from the restaurant to be delivered the first night and ate breakfast at the buffet our last day and it was very good both times! Santiago was a great host and very helpful with local recommendations!

We had already visited Villas Jawara several times, and this time, as always, everything was incredible. For me, it's by far one of the best places to stay in the area. The location. The villa has everything one might need. And Santiago is always very friendly and decisive. We are counting the days to return.

Words cannot fully describe how beautiful this property is. The location was amazing. It felt like you couldn't get any closer to the volcano. The access to the hotel amenities at the bottom of the hill was a pleasant surprise. Santiago helped us with all our needs and even booked a dinner for us in town. What a wonderful stay! When we come back we will stay here again!!

An Unforgettable Stay in La Fortuna We had an incredible stay in La Fortuna! My entire family absolutely loved the place. The view of the volcano was spectacular, and being surrounded by so much beautiful nature made the experience even more special. The private hot-water pool right in front of the volcano was definitely one of our favorite features. Having access to the hot springs was also a wonderful bonus. The property was beautiful, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!
