Located just 10 minutes outside San Juan del Sur, the home feels wonderfully secluded despite its proximity to town. Monkeys, toucans, and parakeets may even visit, giving you plenty of reasons to stay in.
The Space
Bella Vista is a beautiful four-bedroom home in the El Encanto development of San Juan del Sur.
Please note that the fourth bedroom has bunk beds intended primarily for children.
The property also features a large garden beside the house. Guests are not expected to maintain it, but they are welcome to enjoy any fruit growing on the trees. Depending on the season, the garden may offer:
- Mangoes
- Papayas
- Bananas
- Other seasonal surprises
Nearby Tree Casa Resort
El Encanto is also home to the exclusive Tree Casa resort, located just three minutes down the road. The resort features a distinctive restaurant and a two-tiered swimming pool.
Tree Casa has one of the best restaurants in town. Resort visitors are generally charged a small day-use fee, which is credited toward their restaurant bill.
On Wednesdays, Tree Casa offers Pizza Day/Night and waives the pool-use fee.
Guest Access
Because the home is located in the jungle, the route includes several hills. Much of the road is paved, although some dirt sections can become muddy during the rainy season.
Most roads outside the town center are unpaved, including the roads leading to the beaches. For this reason, guests renting vehicles are strongly encouraged to choose one with four-wheel-drive capability. A larger vehicle with better suspension is also recommended.
A four-wheel-drive vehicle may be required to reach the house during the rainy season. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
Electricity Policy
Each rental day includes 90 kilowatt-hours of electricity, which should meet the home's needs with responsible air-conditioning use at night.
Electricity used beyond the included allowance is charged at a rate of 10 cordobas, approximately $0.35 USD, per kilowatt-hour.
Quiet Hours
The property has neighbors, so please keep noise at a reasonable level at all times and to a minimum outdoors after 10:00 p.m.

Our stay was excellent. The house is very nice, comfortable and has everything you need to spend a few incredible days. We loved the views and the tranquility of the place, and in general everything was as we expected. Communication and service were also excellent. The only thing was that when we arrived, the pool was a little dirty, although it was probably because there was a lot of wind during those days and leaves and dirt probably got in. We also noticed that the pool light wasn't working, so we couldn't enjoy it at night as we would have liked. Apart from those small details, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much for everything!

Functional and pleasant kitchen. The pool and house were clean. Beautiful sunset. You can pick limes, mangoes, and other fruit on the grounds.

This is an absolutely beautiful house. The kids loved the pool. Waking up to all the flowers, butterflies, and birds was extremely peaceful. We planned to go to the beach one day, but with the breathtaking views and peace at the house, everyone decided to spend the day in with no regrets. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The host Paul, was responsive and provided plenty of information about the trip prior to our arrival. Bella Vista staff was very friendly and accommodating. The house is very modern. It sits on top of a hill, offering beautiful views and plenty of breeze that is able to circulate through it. The location of the residence is great with access to San Juan and many other beaches or other excursion one might want to explore. We very much enjoyed our stay as it was well worth it. Thank you Paul and the Bella Vista staff for taking part in a wonderful experience.

This property is exactly as you see in the photo's. We would stay here again. We travelled with our adult kids, and we all had our own bedroom. The pool is great and refreshing to cool off in. They don't advertise the waterfall running all the time, which would be a great addition. But other than that it was a great week! Pedro looked after the grounds/pool and he was super friendly! He came Mon/Wed/Fri so we made those our pools days. It was very windy so the pool got dirty with leaves etc. (not the owners fault), so we just made the best of it on the days Pedro had it looked after! This property is looked after by a property management company who we've dealt with before. They are extremely friendly, responsive and very helpful! Anytime I messaged they answered right away. Highly recommend this property to families! Oh, I forgot to mention Ninoska! She will come to the house to cook for you. We had her cook Mahi Mahi for us one night which was amazing! Thanks for hosting us!
