The Space
This condo offers a comfortable home base with ample room to relax and enjoy your stay. It includes air conditioning, cable TV, and internet access. The fully equipped kitchen features:
- Full-sized refrigerator
- Cooktop and oven (brand new cooktop recently installed)
- Dishwasher
- Coffee maker
- Microwave
- Toaster
- Blender
- Cookware, flatware, and dishes for six guests
Each registered guest receives a Turkish beach towel and a bath towel. Hand towels are provided in the bathroom, and kitchen towels are available in the kitchen. Guests also have access to biodegradable 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and biodegradable kitchen soap. An iron and hair dryer are available for use.
Complimentary beach chairs, coolers, and sand toys are provided within the building on a first-come, first-served basis.
Weekly cleaning service is included for stays longer than seven nights. Additional cleanings can be arranged for a fee.
Please note, this condo is located on the second floor of a building without an elevator, so guests must be able to climb stairs. There is potential for noise in the unit.

The condo is conveniently situated within walking distance to all that Tamarindo offers:
- 2-minute walk to the beach
- 4-minute walk to the town center
- Located on the same block as the newly constructed Starbucks
Amenities and Guest Access
Guests have access to common area amenities from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., which include:
- Plunge pool
- Shallow pool for children
- Outdoor shower and foot shower
- Gas barbecue grill with grilling tools
- Lounging areas near the pool for relaxing or dining outdoors
Additional Information
The condo offers self check-in and is pet friendly, allowing up to two pets. Dogs are welcome in common areas but must be kept on a leash. Please inform the host if you plan to bring a pet.
Tamarindo is undergoing significant development, which may result in some noise from construction during legal working hours.
The local environment includes native wildlife such as ants, spiders, moths, lizards, flies, beetles, howler monkeys, skunks, porcupines, possums, iguanas, and hawks. Occasional sightings of these animals inside or around the property are normal, especially during the rainy season when they seek shelter. Guests should avoid leaving unsealed food out to minimize encounters. Pest control measures are in place, but no refunds will be issued due to wildlife sightings. If pests become problematic, guests may use the provided insect spray or request assistance from maintenance.
Power outages can occur in Costa Rica. If an outage lasts longer than six hours, a 25% refund will be offered for the affected day. No refunds are provided for outages shorter than six hours.
Onsite parking is available for one vehicle but is limited.
Potential noise sources include street noise, construction, and nearby nightlife.

Wonderful stay! Great location, responsive hosts, safe unit and clean. Very accommodating hosts and the laundry service was extremely clutch! We will be back and will recommend to all of our friends and family. Construction onsite was very loud to neighboring unit but hosts acknowledged and made it right. We did lose power while we were there but again out of hosts control and affected Tamarindo. We had such a nice time that we even offered a vacation swap with our unit in the states to the hosts. We cannot say enough good things.

On s'est senti comme chez nous dès le jour 1. Kristin a été très réactive à nos demandes. J'ai bien aimé le ménage et lessive du milieu de semaine. L'emplacement était vraiment idéal! Merci de rendre disponible chaise et glacière - excellente idée!

We just got done with a 1 week stay at Tamarindo Sanctuary and it was amazing!!The location was perfect and very walkable to tons of restaurants, night life and the beach! While staying here we had access to beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards which helped make our beach days so much more fun. The check in/out process was super easy and the condo really felt like a home away from home. Condo was very clean upon arrival which was greatly appreciated. It had a fully set up kitchen and the a/c in each room was an added bonus. The hosts were extremely helpful by providing detailed information upon check in from things to do and food to eat during our stay. They were also readily available and quick to respond if we had any questions. For instance, on a whim we decided to rent a golf cart for a few days and when reached out they were able to accommodate a place to park and charge our cart. Will stay here again next time we are back in Costa Rica! Thank you for such a pleasant

This is my second stay at Kristin’s place and again it exceeded my expectation. What a wonderful location and beautiful and homey condo! I absolutely loved my stay and I will definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you Kristin and Julia for being amazing hosts!

Great location with easy access to the beach. The unit matched the pictures. The air conditioning was very good and kept the room a cool temperature to sleep in. The best part of the unit was the host. Kristin was sooo helpful with everything we needed. It was like having our own personal concierge. Don’t miss out on the free beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers in the lobby.

Kristin's condo at Mango Condos was a great choice for a stay in Tamarindo. Fairly central to the town for easy walk to wherever you want to go. The condo itself is quiet, comfortable and easy to stay. There is a small pool in the courtyard that the kids loved along with a selection of items to borrow for the beach.

Recently stayed here with my wife for 3 days, 2 nights. I booked a 2BR apartment with 2 balconies. It was very spacious and included two different balconies where holler monkeys could be heard and sometimes seen in the mornings. *Host did ask for pictures of our passports before we arrived. Cleanliness: Counters, table tops, and top of dresser could have used a wipe down. Shower could have used a good scrub as there appeared to be sand and/or dirt on the shower floor. Not too bad overall! Location: super close to lots of the attractions within Tamarindo! In walking distance to restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and the beach. No need for a car, unless you want to explore other nearby beaches. Pool, wifi, and grill in the lounge area. Felt secure. Would stay again. Only wish that I knew sooner that we could borrow the beach chairs stored in the lobby.

Mango condos are very close the beach, liquor store, groceries, etc! Went on a beach crawl and had a great time!
