The Space

This beachfront villa in Playa San Miguel offers a Costa Rican-style retreat with 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 14 guests. The house spans 4,144 square feet and features an open-concept design ideal for beachside living.

The property includes two spacious master bedrooms facing the ocean, while the other two bedrooms overlook the garden and pool area. The social space is designed as a Costa Rican pavilion-style open area, integrating a kitchen and bar. The unique dining area faces stunning views of the sand and surf, complemented by an adjacent lounge perfect for reading in a hammock, playing card games, working on a computer, or simply relaxing while enjoying ocean breezes and unforgettable sunsets.

Location and Surroundings

The beach in front of the house captures both south and southwest swells, offering an easy take-out beach break directly in front of the villa and a faster point break just 200 meters away. Beach walks often include sightings of flying birds, and depending on the season, whales pass close to shore. Sea turtles also come to San Miguel to lay their eggs.

Nights provide excellent opportunities for stargazing on the beach or unwinding indoors while listening to the sound of the ocean.

• The villa is located approximately 2.5 hours from Liberia International Airport. Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged by the team (transportation fees not included).
• It is 3.5 hours from Juan Santamaría International Airport in Alajuela. Guests traveling from San José may opt for a ferry ride to Playa Naranja, a scenic journey where turtles, dolphins, seagulls, and sometimes whales can be spotted.
• Nearby conveniences include a mini market 7 minutes away and El Rey Supermarket 18 minutes away.
• Medical clinics are available in Coyote (open Monday to Friday, 20 minutes away) and Jicaral.
