Our stay at 15 Love was great. The vibe at 15 Love is friendly and relaxed. The staff are great and helpful. It takes only ten minutes walk to get to the beach or small grocery store for snacks. It is at the end of the beach near estuary where everyone does the beginners surfing lessons…nice easy waves for beginners. Tamarindo beach is about 2 km long. Many restaurants at all price points nearby within walking distance. Tamarindo is now very expensive (like Bermuda) so try the nearby Soda run by Erick, Pico Bistro, or in town Green Papaya. Vindi in t grocery store has readymade food and chopped fruit. Bed was comfortable, the sheets were high quality cotton, the shower water was hot, and the AC was cold and not noisy. The room has a small fridge and a TV. The main courtyard has a lovely plunge pool to cool off in after the hot day. I loved floating in it and looking up at the beautiful tree branches above. All in all this is a great place to stay in Tamarindo.

Overall dissapointing experience. As the name suggests, this place very much caters for external people looking to play racket sports while neglecting those staying there. The owner was much unfussed, boardline didn't seem to care, for instance when asked for an iron simply responded: "I don't know", or when advised the room had roaches the night before didnt ensure someone went to check the room and/or provide an extra clean (ultimately said that Sundays are not cleaning days, which is fair as long as everything is "normal"). 1) Cockroaches: from a tropical country myself, I know that roaches are not easy to avoid. However, the response was extremely poor from the owner who did not make sure someone went to check the place after we reported the issue. Once we got back to our room in the evening that still had dead roaches that the owner offered a "free" breakfast to "compensate". 2) The advertised swimming pool is honestly a filthy pond. 3) Zero privacy as room as by the courts.

I had a great stay here! This was my first solo trip and I felt so safe since there was always staff on site and because of their security measures. This place is just one short walk to the main road where u can get something to eat, book excursions, surf lessons, and easily walk to the beach. Highly recommend using the driver Frank that the host is friends with, he’s so nice and took me to my excursion and around Tamarindo. The room was very clean and well air conditioned. Of course there were some spiders but that is to be expected. Wish u got to see the howler monkeys but maybe next time!

The room was very clean, there were some bugs (both alive and dead) at check in but you're staying in a tropical country so what do you expect. The gap under the door is also pretty big so I'd recommend covering it at night or while you're away so nothing gets in (we had a wolf spider pop its head in under the door and say hello) but once again, it's a tropical country, you're going to deal with that everywhere. The location is good, the walk to the beach is maybe 5 minutes and the center of town is probably 10. We didn't use the pool, it's pretty small but we were here for the beach anyway so we didn't mind.

15 Love is such a gem! A block away from the beach, 15 Love is a little oasis from the touristy hustle of Tamarindo. Would absolutely come back !

The place was nice, especially if you're into tennis or pickleball – there are plenty of options for both. It's close enough to town that you can walk there, which is convenient. The rooms were decent and comfortable. Overall, it was a solid stay.
