El espacio
Orgánico Punta Riel es un proyecto de bioconstrucción creado mediante la investigación de materiales estructurales alternativos, incluidos contenedores, combinados con acabados contemporáneos. El resultado es una casa caribeña moderna con espacios acogedores, rodeada por la selva tropical de Costa Rica.
La propiedad ofrece habitaciones seguras, un jardín orgánico comestible y acceso conveniente a importantes atracciones turísticas, incluido el Parque Nacional Cahuita y el Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Gandoca-Manzanillo. Orgánico Punta Riel está diseñado como un lugar para relajarse y desconectarse.
Ubicada en Punta Riel, a lo largo de la Ruta Nacional 36, la casa se encuentra entre los pueblos de Cahuita y Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.

Orgánico Punta Riel también alberga un proyecto macroagroecológico que incorpora sistemas sostenibles de producción de permacultura. Estos sistemas funcionan en armonía con las iniciativas de agroturismo desarrolladas en toda la región del Caribe Sur de Costa Rica.

Fabian is too great, always attentive, the location is very good and the place very nice and cozy, until we were greeted in the courtyard, definitely to come back without a doubt.

The home is located at a middle point between Cahuita and downtown Puerto Viejo. The stay was very quiet, allowing you to disconnect from the daily routine.

Great place, booked for a friend who was visiting. He only had great things to say about the accommodations and especially the people. Excellent communication with Fabian, he was very accommodating and responsive. It was about a 25 minute bike ride from Playa Negra, probably 15 minutes more to Puerto Viejo town. For those with a car you will have no problem and enjoy coming back to a tranquil place with great vibes. Thank you.

We had a nice and calm experience at Fabian’s place. We were so lucky to meet the house sloth and Fabian’s great friend, Dani that was a great host in Fabian’s absence. If you’d like to stay out of the beaten path, we can highly recommend the Jaguar room and it’s amazing view of the forest. Thanks for two wonderful days! 🫶🏾

I was only able to stay for one night but enjoyed hanging out in the community space and spent the majority of my time there. This home can feel rugged to those who only stay in hotels, but if you can get over that, you can definitely feel the energy of the wildlife and plants around you and the friendliness of those you encounter. Fabian and his friend Maria also were great to get a variety of recommendations from!
