The Space
Villa Sirena is a private oceanfront villa situated in a unique and coveted spot on the point of Half Moon Bay in Akumal. Known as one of the area’s classic homes, it offers breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the ocean and sky, showcasing a stunning palette of blues that can captivate you for hours.
The villa features a well-designed floor plan that includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A comfortable common living area
- Tastefully furnished outdoor spaces
- An infinity pool
Air conditioning is available exclusively in the bedrooms.
Bedrooms
Villa Sirena has four bedrooms in total, accommodating up to 12 guests comfortably:
- The main house contains three bedrooms:
- The master bedroom is on the upper level, furnished with a king-size bed and a private bathroom.
- The upper guest bedroom includes two double beds and its own bathroom.
- The main level guest bedroom has one queen bed and one double bed, along with a private bathroom.
- The fourth bedroom is a lock-off unit with a separate private entrance. It features a king-size bed and a private bathroom.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire villa and the swimming pool.

Please note that south winds can occasionally bring Sargassum seaweed to some beaches throughout the Caribbean, including the Riviera Maya. While it is difficult to predict the exact impact on specific beaches or weeks, this may affect beach conditions and water access.

Great location for a family vacation. Fantastic views, easy access to snorkeling, nice pool, spacious rooms and relaxed vibe. Away from the busyness of the area and yet close to everything you need. We would come back for sure.

Highly recommend! We originally had a condo in the middle of Akumal beaches but the seaweed was so bad (esp the smell) the host called and offered us a different house away from the seaweed. The house was perfect!!!! We could snorkel right next to our private pool from the backyard. They helped arrange a golf cart for us to get around and were extremely commutative and helpful with any of our needs (laundry, drivers, groceries, etc). Scott was also incredibly attentive and suggested some great stuff for us to do and places to eat. It’s small town vibes but also with great places to visit close by! Can’t wait to come back.

My family and I were well pleased with the beautiful location of the Villa Sirena. The infinity pool looking out to the ocean and crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea was a much beloved place for us to spend our vacation. We also spent time exploring the sea shore and local cenotes as well! Akumal Direct were a pleasure to work with. Scott was very attentive and proactive to reach out to us to ensure all our needs were being cared for. He and his staff made great recommendations for golf cart rental, tours, airport transfers, Doctors and local restaurants. Sergio, Alma and Alex were very kind and supportive for our time in Akumal. I can’t say enough good things about their staff and the companies they recommended to us. Muchas gracias!

The location and this property was so beautiful! I can’t believe how private the property felt, the outdoor space was amazing and the views really can’t be beat. We rented golf carts to get around and that was so much fun, definitely would recommend doing that! Scott was incredible, he was one of the most communicative hosts I’ve ever had! He checked in on us in person a few times and sent messages regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if we had questions. He gave great tips and recommendations throughout our whole stay and really made the experience special. The whole area had a power outage due to some heavy rain for a day or so and he was completely on top of keeping in touch, sending updates, and doing extra things to keep us comfortable. We would 100% stay here again and recommend this home to anyone! Every part of our experience was really fantastic and we truly had an amazing time!
