My brother and I enjoyed our stay at Tropical Dreams. You can't hear the ocean waves or see the ocean but the beauty of Costa Rica never disappoints. The gentleman on site was amazing - helpful, friendly, and generally interested in making sure the guests were accommodated. The entire condo was very clean, especially the kitchen. It had everything we needed. It was a very quiet place to stay, private, yet walkable to be beach and nearby stores. The terrace was beautiful and a great place to hang out for morning coffee, during rainstorms, or evening sunsets. A few things others may like to know: -Some people may think it's too far to walk but it really isn't bad and is actually normal for Costa Rica. -The water is HOT! Be careful because it was burn you if you're not careful. -The beds are not the most comfortable and could really use new pillows. -There were some stains on the bedspread but you could tell that the bedding was still clean. Overall, we would return! Great value!

A wonderful stay in this place! The rooftop lounge was incredible, at any time of the day, luminous and always a little breeze. The pool is very nice too, and we walked to the beach in 10 minutes. I recommend this place!

The rooftop deck was amazing - it was the highlight of the suite!! We spent most of our time and ate all of our meals there (when not out exploring the surrounding area). We didn't mind the extra steps - and appreciated having the BBQ, fridge & sink as well as lots of room to relax and enjoy the views and local wildlife. The suite was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed - but comparatively dark with limited views. The pool was very refreshing and a great place to meet the other guests. The Garrett Group was really good at communicating recommendations for the local area and keeping in touch with us before and during our stay. Thanks too for the opportunity to contribute shoes and socks to the local kids. 5 stars for sure!

Great 2 floor apartment with rooftop patio. Nice bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. The rooftop patio is really the star. Perfect place to hang out in the evenings. Location is close enough to town to be able to walk to restaurants and the beach, but far enough away that it’s super quiet at night. Definitely recommended. There were only 2 hick ups: The upstairs bathroom had very little water pressure. As this is the only bathroom with a shower, it was near impossible to use. We also lost internet for the last day and a half. We messaged the host about both but never received a solution or follow up. They were small issues for us, but I think also good to know for others.

The Garrett Group was absolutely fantastic to deal with! We had a water pipe break in our first week and they had someone there immediately to fix it. The washer & dryer worked great & we did few loads of laundry & bedding during our 2 wks there. There were 4 of us & we managed to make the one shower enough (although water pressure in the area isn't great, but it was as expected). This unit is very well outfitted, gave us lots of space & we made way more use of the rooftop deck than we thought we would. The deck level has a BBQ, small fridge, sink, seating area & a patio table & chairs. We played cards, almost every night, on the rooftop. Location: It was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants & groceries & we felt very safe everywhere we went. The complex has a mix of Canadian & American owners & we thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Awesome appartment, very quiet and private. The rooftop terrasse is stunning. The pool was very quiet, there was more often than. not nobody there, making it almost a private pool. Well located, everything is easily walkable. Highly recommend.

An impeccable two-story accommodation, amazing location and the fully equipped rooftop terrace is a big plus for an intimate and breathtaking vacation with views of nature and the sea in the distance! I would recommend this place without hesitation for a vacation in Costa Rica.

The place is wonderful, private, the apartment has everything, we loved it and had a great time. The location is perfect, it's close to several beaches. I recommend it, it's worth it. It has a swimming pool and on the third floor there is a place to make roast meat.
