My family and I had a lovely few days in Playa Patuxka. The villa had everything we needed and the common areas were great. Easy beach access, lovely pool. My niece loved watching the turtles and we all enjoyed playing with two super sweet cats that were at the property. The people who work here are super helpful and kind. Playa patuxca is between San crisanto and Telchac, so there are plenty of restaurants and small stores within an 8 minute drive. We also brought food to cook, and had all we needed (we did bring butter and cooking oil, I don’t think the house had anything but salt in terms of cooking essentials). Note the upstairs bathroom is shared (it connects the two upstairs bedrooms). We loved it, wished we could have stayed longer.

It's just missing the basics, like in other Airbnbs, like salt or oil in the kitchen, since there's nothing in the area to buy. It would be very useful, even if you leave it with a cost, you don't have to give things away, but there should be options. As I said, the minimum necessary. Other than that, everything was fine, although I left two days before and then he wrote to say goodbye and that's it. I don't blame him, bad luck, I couldn't go back as I had planned my trip. I changed my mind, hahaha, but hey, I appreciate the attention and be prepared, there isn't even an omelet to eat in the place, it doesn't sell anything, there isn't a restaurant or store or anything good or people, hahaha

Excellent facilities, the staff and the super friendly host had an incredible family vacation, the complex has everything you need to have a good time and enjoy, it undoubtedly became our favorite place.

The positives. Coconut trees surround this villa, just steps from the beach, and have spacious and comfortable living quarters. The beach was not as clean or white as the pictures indicated, but it still had charm. However, we preferred Progreso's public beaches. The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed. After the first night, we had the place to ourselves. It's quiet. We were treated well by the grounds staff, who provided us with fresh coconut water and sliced open the coconuts we found on the beach. The negatives. We never had consistent hot water after numerous efforts by service personnel to resolve the issue. The groundkeeper informed us that the boiler had limited capacity, resulting in limited hot water. It would have been a huge problem if we had a larger party. This is not a place I would recommend or return to. While I wanted to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful stay here, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

The place is just what is advertised. The beach is quiet, perfect for kids. Everything is very clean, safe and quiet. Jose was always on the lookout and there are employees at the place who help in whatever needed.

Very good stay, very attentive hosts, they answered all our questions. You can see that they strive to provide good service and care about guests having a good time. We really enjoyed the hammocks on the private beach and the pool. We'll be back.

The place is excellent for resting, the facilities are very good and it has enough furniture (chairs, beds, etc.) The place is located a few minutes from the nearest town which helps you to stay calm and isolated.

We can’t say enough great things about this magical place. We felt so welcomed by Jose and his staff. It was the perfect fit for our family of 6. We spent many mornings walking the beach and there is no question that Jose spot has the nicest beach front set up. Alvaro the personal chef that Jose recommended for us was excellent! We had 2 delicious meals cooked for us featuring authentic Yucatan cuisine. Cannot wait to come back and rent out both houses to share a tropical holiday with family/friends. Thanks Jose!

Highly recommended, it is a private place, very clean and in very good condition its facilities, friendly staff; it is a peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy and rest.
